  2. “Democratic Illinois Governor JB Pritzker once again used his bully pulpit to rebuke President Trump after federal agents [marched](https://blockclubchicago.org/2025/09/28/armed-federal-agents-patrol-millennium-park-mag-mile-to-chants-of-shame/) through downtown Chicago, [kidnapped](https://abc7chicago.com/post/ice-chicago-today-illinois-governor-jb-pritzker-speak-monday-border-patrol-federal-agents-detain-people-downtown/17902579/) people, %5Bshot%5D(https://www.cbsnews.com/chicago/news/feds-fire-pepper-ball-at-cbs-chicago-reporters-truck/) a pepper ball (essentially a paintball full of pepper spray) at a journalist’s vehicle, and [fired](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oV0RIUKr_Nk) tear gas at peaceful protesters.”

“In any other country, if federal agents fired upon journalists and protesters, when unprovoked, what would we call it? If federal agents marched down busy streets, harassing civilians and demanding their papers, what would we say? I don’t think we’d have any trouble calling it what it is: authoritarianism,” Pritzker [said](https://x.com/Acyn/status/1972758540285784208) at a press conference Monday afternoon. “So let’s not pretend it’s something else when it happens in our American cities.”

“This weekend, there was a surge in federal immigration enforcement in Chicago as armed agents patrolled the city. Pritzker on Monday said that Trump is also planning to [deploy](https://www.wbez.org/immigration/2025/09/29/gov-pritzker-dhs-100-national-guard-troops-illinois-ice-agents) 100 military troops to Illinois.”

“Chicago has been on Trump’s hit list since Trump announced his federal takeover of Washington, D.C., in August, along with multiple other mostly Black cities like Baltimore and Memphis. Earlier this month, Trump [posted](https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/115158096026629509) an AI-generated image of himself dressed as Lieutenant Colonel Kilgore—Robert Duvall’s character from *Apocalypse Now—*with Chicago burning in the background.”

“…………Only time will tell how much they’ll be able to stop Trump, as any resistance to the president’s draconian federal invasions will require cohesion from state leaders, local leaders, businesses, and neighbors. A fight is certainly coming, and Pritzker and Chicago seem up for it.”

It is extremely dangerous to NOT be calling this what it is. We cannot allow the population to keep their heads in the sand until it is too late.

The problem? MAGA aren’t americans … and they are the only “people” still supporting him. Actual real Americans who love our country – we never give up the opportunity to call him exactly all the things that he is.

I like him way more than Newsom. He doesn’t play around with jokes. He calls it out for what it is and tells people to not accept it

  6. >JB Pritzker Demands Americans Call Trump Exactly What He Is

A fat orange shitgibbon? Seems a bit harsh.

  7. An idiot? Moron? Demented old fool? The dumbest human being to ever run for public office? A brain damaged mental patient that should be in an institution? A mental 4 year old? Tell me when I’m getting close.

  8. Not sure what he means could be pedophile, convicted felon, insurrectionist, fascist, dementia patient, rapist. So many choices

  9. Before reading the article: “is it time we call Trump a bitch? Because he needs to hear that he’s a bitch.

After reading the article: “calling him a bitch would have been cooler”

Ooh! This sounds fun. I love MadLibs.

Trump is a [noun] who is definitely in the [proper noun] [noun] and should be in [noun] instead of the [adjective] [noun]. Also, he has to [verb] [plural noun] because he can’t stop [verb] his [noun].

  11. He’s a dictator.

Just like people who supported Hitler didn’t want to, because they didn’t want to believe they supported evil, he’s a dictator

  12. For years right wing conspiracy theorists called every single Democratic president a dictator. Hell, they called every Democrat some version of that.

Sadly, the less informed, politically ignorant, and/or less intelligent among us see people using similar language to talk about Trump and they just assume it’s more of the same hyperbole. They don’t realize that it’s now actually true. On top of that, most aren’t really capable of realizing their mistake.

The news treating Trump like a normal president is obviously part of the problem, but it’s not like Trump and his ilk were hiding. Trump regularly admits to being exactly what many feared. The news didn’t trick people into ignoring the literal hundreds of huge red flags and warning signs..

Everyone even remotely intelligent already knows Trump is fascist with dictatorial aspirations. Everyone else is either in the MAGA cult or are simply too stupid to recognize the danger on their doorstep.

History education, especially world history, is abysmal in much of the U.S. Especially red states. So millions of Americans aren’t even aware of the many lessons the world has learned the hard way about dictators and fascism. ICE is a spitting image of the SS, yet I’ve seen more than a few 20 somethings have no idea what the SS even was.
