They are not fans at a rally, they are being briefed/instructed by Secretary of Defense. However, this speech was still terrifying in nature in the direction the US is deciding to move in regards to military standards. Especially as it pertains to female standards and bringing back assault as a tactic to instill discipline.
If his gold standard is “would I want my child to serve”, then it’s a hell no from me because recruits are going to get their asses beat and the new policies will make it impossible to report abuse, because it will be seen as ‘woke’.
