Interesting because in August 2024, Vought openly bragged about having Trump on his project 2025 team and nobody gave a shit.
Vought and Miller were directly involved with Project 2025 and are a part of his administration. However, all of Trumps administration was hand picked by (and loyal to) the Heritage Foundation- they are the deep state running the country.

Saying that he had no idea what P2025 was and pretending to break with the Heritage Foundation over P2025 only to enact a lot of the stuff in that document worked pretty well for Trump and Republicans, and their base accepted it too. I don’t understand why Democrats, by contrast, have elements of their base that demand that the party nominees list every single policy they support on their sleeve or else they get attacked from the left when not even lying but keeping things vague like supporting Obama’s notion of “Hope” and “Change” were also fairly successful.
