I read the article, did you notice that it’s all very vague? They speak of terrorist organizations instead of naming the organization they allegedly targeted in the bombing. They speak of enemies of the state and not of drug dealers who were allegedly targeted. Hegseth mentioned people who poison Americans, but we all have also heard the idiom of poisoning the mind.
They’re trying hard to expand the category of terrorism very, very far. “trans identity inspired violence and extremism” (a term coined by the heritage foundation) comes to mind. The list of things that should aid to determine which beliefs lead to extremism, with anti-capitalism on it, as well as being aware of racism.
By bombing the boats they’re testing for consequences. It will soon be the “enemy within” they use lethal military power against.
