Question. If the National Guard can be federalised, and the State Troopers don’t appear to be on the side of the people/democracy, is there any reason why the State Government/Chicago government can’t just raise their own “well regulated militia”?
I mean, that’s what the National Guard has been supposed to be for, but all the 2A nuts/lawsuits have muddied the waters enough that they could just raise their own to resist right?
