I don’t want this to happen. But I wouldn’t be surprised if soon ice agents begin getting shot.

  2. Some of the main points from this report:

    >Storming an apartment complex by helicopter as families slept. Deploying chemical agents near a public school. Handcuffing a Chicago City Council member at a hospital.
    >
    >Activists, residents and leaders say increasingly combative tactics used by federal immigration agents are sparking violence and fueling neighborhood tensions in the nation’s third-largest city.
    >
    >“They are the ones that are making it a war zone,” Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker said Sunday on CNN. “They fire tear gas and smoke grenades, and they make it look like it’s a war zone.”
    >
    >…
    >
    >Leaders of a Chicago suburb that’s home to an immigration processing center have taken their fight against federal agents to court.
    >
    >The village of Broadview has become a front line in the immigration operation. The center in the community of 8,000 people is where immigrants are processed for detention or deportation.
    >
    >Protests outside have become tense with near daily arrests. Civil rights organizations have blasted aggressive tactics by agents, while village officials have launched three separate criminal investigations against federal agents.
    >
    >City officials have demanded the federal government remove an 8-foot fence they say was “illegally” put up outside the facility. They filed a federal lawsuit Friday seek a temporary restraining order and the immediate removal of the fence they say blocks fire access.
    >
    >“The fence also constitutes an immediate public safety hazard,” the lawsuit said.
    >
    >Also pending is an expected ruling on alleged violations of a 2022 consent decree on how federal immigration agents can make arrests in six states including Illinois. While the order expired in May, attorneys have sought an extension and filed dozens of more alleged violations in the past month.

Despite claims to the contrary by the MAGA administration, the urban warzones that they are railing against only became that way after they mobilized troops and invaded these communities. It’s important to continue to remember this point especially as the situations continue to inevitably degrade.

  3. These ICE agents are just itching to shoot and then ask questions later. Trump has empowered them and when will it be our turn to disappear?

Could you imagine it’s 2022 and Biden did this to a city in a Red State, the Reaction of Faux news would be insane

  5. They are trying to provoke violence to justify escalation and further violence.

They want to start a civil war.

  6. How come Biden and Obama could arrest more criminals than Trump without all this staged nonsense?

  7. This is a provocation for no other purpose than to declare martial law. They WANT us to fight back. I told be the only way they can justify going to war with their own country.

    Fucking traitors.

So, where did the helicopter come from? Who authorized it. Who filed the flight plans? Where is it hangered? Who paid for the fuel? And, a multitude of other related questions that need to be addressed.

A lot of Latinos voted for Trump, but what they don’t understand is that some of the people ICE agents are picking up off the street to harass, are ‘legal’, and just unlucky to be chosen that day, so they’re dragged away from the normal daily lives, to be interrogated for hours, handcuffed, humiliated, or worst case scenario thrown in jail overnight.

  11. They’re going to be aggressive everywhere because there’s practically no push back outside protesters.

  12. The “Black Helicopters” the right-wing loonies have been warning about for the last thirty years are finally here–it was them all along.

  13. Something will give here. Chicago will only peacefully make life miserable for these fascist pricks for so long before they knuckle up and start going on the offensive against them. It’ll play into the narrative obviously, but it’s getting to the point where the government orchestrated assaults won’t be peacefully tolerated.

You know they bro hug each other, talk about being “in country” and watch the YT channels with ex Operators with a notepad.
I did wonder this though: it’s my understanding the new ICE personnel are getting pretty fat checks. And some National Guard aren’t getting housing stipends and/or pay due to shutdown.
It would suck to have some half assed yahoo off the street making a bonus worth more than me- a trained professional maybe even committed for the right reasons- and here comes ICEMAN

The irony is the media and other observers think this is a left-right ideological conflict. Trump has no political ideology- just a personal one. He doesn’t identify with any ideas from Project 2025 or Heritage Foundation or even Miller unless they empower him personally.

Trump is a malignant narcissist with sociopathic tendencies. He isn’t opposed to Democratic Party policies- he’s opposed to anything/anyone who opposes his personal, omnipotent Narcissistic aspirations. There just happens to be some common ground in the opposition.

  16. >Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Saturday posted heavily edited video clips of the operation to X showing agents blasting through doors, helicopters and adults in zip ties, but music played over most of the roughly 1 minute video.

All the people she harmed in that helicopter raid reduced to a one-minute video set to music.

    Nazi Ghoul.

This is weirdnstuff… reality of the refugee nearer than ever … weaponjzed musical chairs… when the music stops whoever doesn’t have a place to sit goes to watch and wait to see the winner is the last one left is

  18. There MUST be a reckoning for this. Next D administration needs to hold no bars, pull no punches. Thousands must go to jail for this lawless tyranny.

…almost as if they are doing everything in their power to incite a violent response.
