Always good to see the rare good news, and people standing up to this attempted coup of the federal government. America probably won’t come back from this, but it’s nice to see some of us refuse to submit to these traitors.

  2. “But you didn’t say we couldn’t move Oregon to inside the nearest National Guard base!” – Hegseth probably

There’s a massive line in the sand, and whether it is promptly crossed or if it is abided by will have reverberating implications on this administration and this country.

Glad we allllll know they’ll act reasonably.

  4. This judge put together an emergency hearing regarding the California National Guard deployment to Oregon. Minutes before it was about to start, it was announced that Hegeseth was requesting the Texas National Guard to be deployed there as well. Thankfully, the judge was notified of this before the hearing began and issued this new order.

Good on her for holding the hearing so quickly. Fuck you Trump, and your entire fascist admin.

So SCOTUS using shadow docket Monday early AM to block this then hear arguments in six months or so?

Welp, I guess Washington state’s next? Time to broaden it again. Don’t deploy national guard for stupid shit.

Good for judge and law, trump was just workshopping how to thwart the original order, so this is again trump and his attempt at legal gymnastics to get his way. Incoming whiny late night posts,

Great can we now get back to the Epstein files. Trump will probably not get in trouble but I like how it gets under his skin

  10. Great news. Now, can Oregon governor order their National Guard to defend against invasion from TX National Guard?

  11. It might prove kind of difficult to convince a judge that Portland is a war zone when they can look out their home, car, or office window and see Portland for themselves.

Miller (mini Mussolini) said her order was insurrection. High ranking white house member accusing a judge of insurrection is probably as bad a red flag as you can have.

It’s saying the federal government now recognizes any resistance as treason. Your local sheriff’s and cops are literally going to be asked to kill citizens for resisting an illegal order or kill national guard members for following illegal orders. Pick one.

I had this scenario happening in 2026 but things are accelerated.

  13. Judge: “There is not a legal basis……”

    This Judge is a hero

Please don’t stop with this order. Extend this as well to restoring collective bargaining rights and the respective agreements for Federal employees as well. And keep going…and strike down this administration’s unlawful emergency declarations

Orders and laws are routinely ignored by this administration. This is a nice effort, but we need real action. Indict and arrest all these fuckers breaking these orders and actually hold people accountable.

First Trump tried to federalize the Oregon national guard, but was told by a Judge that he couldn’t as there was no emergency in Portland. Then he tried to bring in a different states national guard, and was told he couldn’t because there was no emergency. I’m guessing next he will send in Marines to address the non-existent emergency, and will be told “no.”
