They attorney general was asked nearly 10 times what exactly Tom Homan did with his massive cash bribe.

    >“What became of the $50,000 in cash that the FBI paid to Mr. Homan, in a paper bag evidently?” the senator asked the attorney general, who slowly flipped to a page in a binder so she could quote a statement from her deputy attorney general.

    >“Senator,” she said, “as Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche recently stated, the investigation of Mr. Homan was subjected to a full review by the FBI agents and DOJ prosecutors. They found no credible evidence of any wrongdoing.”

    >Nowhere in that response was an actual answer, Whitehouse observed, so he again asked what became of the $50,000. Bondi vaguely urged the senator to “look at your facts.”

    >“Are you saying that they did not deliver $50,000 in cash to Mr. Homan?” Whitehouse pressed. Bondi began reciting the statement she previously attributed to Blanche, which Whitehouse noted addresses a “different question.”

  2. Even if it’s not legally actionable for prosecution thanks to the supreme court, how it is not immediate grounds for forced resignation or firing?

A bribe is criminal. In order for this to be a bride, someone in a position of power would need to enforce the law. Non of these people have the fortitude to do so, therefor it is not a bribe and not criminal

“We have investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing,” says the most criminal presidential administration to ever exist in this nation.

Meanwhile some poor ass TSA worker is deciding whether to get his child’s prescription refilled or pay his rent on time because these shitheads aren’t paying him but he still has to work.

They all can fuck off as far as I am concerned

  6. This administration’s handling of the Tom Homan bribery probe is a blatant abuse of power, straight-up quashing FBI recordings that caught their border czar pocketing a $50,000 cash bribe in a takeout bag from undercover agents— all while promising to funnel government contracts to cronies if Trump won. Bondi’s stonewalling in that Senate hearing? It’s textbook corruption cover-up, Nixon-level deflection with zero accountability. This isn’t governance; it’s a grift machine eroding every shred of trust in our institutions.

She flailed on every question asked. Incompetent and clearly covering for the admin.

  8. “I think it’s valuable that the American people get a sense of what you’ve refused to answer today,” Schiff told Bondi. The following questions are those that Schiff noted went unanswered, or were met with personal attacks, by the attorney general:

    1. Did Bondi [consult](https://x.com/BulwarkOnline/status/1975562926284013985) with career ethics lawyers when she approved Trump’s acceptance of a $400 million jet gifted by Qatar’s royal family?

    2. Who [ordered](https://newrepublic.com/post/201425/pam-bondi-epstein-files-trump-name) that Donald Trump’s name be flagged in the FBI’s review of the Epstein files?

    3. Did Homan [keep](https://newrepublic.com/post/201428/pam-bondi-tom-homan-50k-cash-bribe-senate-testimony) his $50,000 from the undercover agents?

    4. Did Homan [pay](https://x.com/Acyn/status/1975567634847703494) taxes on the $50,000?

    5. Did DOJ prosecutors [determine](https://x.com/BulwarkOnline/status/1975576355841474752) there was “insufficient evidence” to charge former FBI Director James Comey before he was indicted?

    6. How did the administration [determine](https://x.com/atrupar/status/1975579750442700912) whether U.S. military strikes on Venezuelan boats in the Caribbean were legal?

(Here, Bondi interrupted, asking the senator, who worked for the justice department before his career in politics, “Do you have a law degree, Senator Schiff?”)

    7. Did Bondi [discuss](https://x.com/atrupar/status/1975584594859635088) indicting Comey with Trump?

    8. Did Bondi [approve](https://x.com/matthewstoller/status/1975627812523356452) the dismissal of antitrust lawyers who opposed the Hewlett Packard–Juniper merger?

    9. Does Bondi [support](https://x.com/TomDreisbach/status/1975618560497246246) a “compensation fund” for people prosecuted in connection with the January 6, 2021 Capitol riots?

    10. Is Bondi firing career prosecutors for working on January 6 investigations?

    11. Does Bondi [think](https://x.com/Acyn/status/1975605938406187319) government officials must follow court orders?

  9. Bondi took a bribe from Dear Leader to make his fraudulent university problem go away while she was the AG in Florida. Of COURSE she’s not going to do shit about Homan taking bribes, because she took a bribe. Fuck all of these asshats.

What is the point of these testimonies? They just lie or plead the 5th and then nothing happens

She might be the ugliest most venomous person I’ve ever seen. I’ve never seen so much hatred for America in my life.

  12. Disastrous_Leg970 on

It’s actually absurd if he just got to keep the money. How can it possibly be said that the investigation was “closed” without getting the cash back?

Surely the FBI, even if they had decided there was no there there would have taken the cash back

  13. “Don’t call me a liar!” They should have responded that yes, I’m calling you a f’ng liar..

  14. DetroitSportsGuy on

She actually started bringing up Hunter Biden at one point. She’s the most pathetic person to ever hold her office.

So you hear about this and you don’t look at the case Pam? No curiosity? No saying I looked and it’s all a lie? Come on.

  16. $50,000 is what the government used to produce evidence. But it was motivated by a tipoff that he was soliciting bribes. So who knows how many others he collected and kept!

  17. PenitentGhost on

Every question was answered with whataboutism and insults, I’ve watched quite a few of these oversight committees and I haven’t seen one substantial question answered.

When Trump’s gone every member of this administration needs to be investigated and charged for their complicity and cover ups and I hope they know this

  18. Without watching … did she go on belligerent offense and accuse the person asking the question of whatever she had in her binder?

Because that looks like it was the entire testimony.

I saw that Schiff called her out, but everyone needs to do it. She’s … not that bright.

  19. Dear media: No one is “flailing,” “melting down,” or “raging.”.

America is currently experiencing a fascist coup, and you ALL are letting it happen for clicks.

Do your fucking jobs by speaking truth to power, or shut the fuck up.

  20. We just need to keep holding their feet to the fire and make sure this behavior isn’t normalized.

If journalists won’t ask the tough questions, then getting these people into hearings under oath is the way we hold them accountable.

  21. Is there anyone in maga that doesn’t fall apart when asked anything other than a softball question?
