Imagine being sooo warped that you equate being against fascism and monarchy with hating America. Full stop. Thats it. Just being against monarchy and fascism. THAT equates to hating AMERICA.

  2. *Is it me, or are these morons starting to sound like even they can’t believe the crap coming out of their mouths, or am I giving them too much credit? What must if feel to have sold your soul and your modicum of integrity to support and enable a criminal grifter in the destruction of your country.?*

“Republican Speaker Mike Johnson thinks the “No Kings” rally planned for next week is a “Hate America” rally meant to extend the government shutdown—something someone who has never been to a “No Kings” event would say. ”

“We’re so angry about it. I’m a very patient guy, but I have had it with these people. They’re playing games with real people’s lives,” Johnson [said](https://x.com/atrupar/status/1976625709046010111) Friday morning on Fox News, in his usual monotone voice. “The theory we have right now: They have a ‘Hate America’ rally that’s scheduled for October 18 on the National Mall. It’s all the pro-Hamas wing and the antifa people, they’re all coming out. Some of the House Democrats are selling T-shirts for the event. It’s being told to us that they won’t be able to reopen the government until after that rally, ’cuz they can’t face their rabid base. This is serious business hurting real people.… I’m beyond words.”

“The “No Kings” rally is a nationwide action with a very simple goal: oppose the blatantly authoritarian tilt of the Trump administration. The protests are supported by groups like the Human Rights Campaign, the American Civil Liberties Union, and the College Democrats of America, among others. The rallies have been very tame, and I have run into veterans, federal employees, and mostly older, liberal white people who love America but hate what President Trump is doing. No one there is particularly close to being pro-Hamas, and antifa (whoever that is) would likely consider the action to be insufficiently leftist for them.”

“But Johnson can say ridiculous things like this because his party can’t fathom that not everyone who opposes them is some militant anarchist with a Molotov cocktail locked and loaded. The government is shut down because Republicans refuse to negotiate with Democrats on extending health care subsidies millions of Americans rely on, not because Democrats want antifa to destroy the government.”

Why move goalposts when you can just point to random things in the crowd and claim them as game stopping distractions.

Blame everybody except the party in control of the White House, Senate and the House. Way to shine.

Johnson probably: “I am totally supportive of all the things you like but I can’t do anything because I have an emergency appointment to count my fingers and toes. I expect this to take all month”

What the fuck is this guy talking about? How would a rally that’s taking place on the 18th of October, that he probably didn’t know about until this week, have anything to do with the government shut down?

  7. Yeah, because unlike the leadership of the Democrats, Mike Johnson understands he’s in a culture war, and that the next election won’t be won or lost based on the policy cocktails presented by the candidates, or what specific stances any specific politicians took, but on the overall vibe America has towards the left and the right.

He understands that if Americans see left wing protest causes as cringe or over the top, then irregular and low information voters will see the Democrats as cringe and over the top, whether or not those Democrats supported those policies or protests themselves. He understands that those people, the ones who only sometimes vote and only if it’s going to make them feel cool, are the ones who make the difference in a tightly partisan America.

The leadership needs to fight back, and understand that regardless of the policy positions they take, they need to win the culture war to win the low information vote, and they can only do that by making the left seem cool, like Bill Clinton used to. And to do that they need these protests to seem cool in the public imagination. Just like Mike Johnson understands that if “No Kings” seems cringe in retrospect, it’ll hurt the Democrats’ brand.

  8. ask him about the 14 year old boy he “adopted” when he was 25? no wonder he is hiding the list

  9. >“We’re so angry about it. I’m a very patient guy, but I have had it with these people. **They’re playing games with real people’s lives**,” Johnson [said](https://x.com/atrupar/status/1976625709046010111) Friday morning on Fox News.

    > “**This is serious business hurting real people**.… I’m beyond words.”

YOU WANT TO MAKE HEALTH CARE PROHIBITIVELY EXPENSIVE FOR 24 MILLION PEOPLE, YOU FUCKING TOOL.

    The audacity . . . I’m beyond words.

This closeted pedophile is cracking. Hopefully he gets pressured enough to admit to what he is on tv by accident.

  11. He’s been lying so much the past 9 months that he’s losing his grip on reality.

Mike. I know you were wondering if Jesus is mad at you.

    Yes. He is shape up.

  12. Mike Johnson loves Kings and Fascists.

We know this because he doesn’t like when people protest against Kings and Fascists.

It’s sort of telling when you go “Hey, I hate fascist kings” and Mike Johnson goes “Oh, so you hate America?!?”

  13. And I thought it was because they want to essentially double the health insurance rates for millions of Americans so the rich can permanently keep their formerly-temporary (but still horrible) tax cuts.

  14. While we are making non-sensical comparisons. I’d like to blame my next door neighbors roof shingle pattern for my inability to play the piano. They are clearly correlated. I see what Mike has done, here present two unrelated things and voila, you have cause and effect.

  15. It’s always something. Always moving the goal post. Always changing and obscuring facts. Never taking accountability. Awful….

    This will never end.

  16. Actually I think this claim is a more strategic and aggressive move than it appears.

He characterizes all of the people who will be protesting as antifa, which triggers the whole domestic terrorism thing Trump signed. Yes it’s typical Republican rhetoric, but everybody knows now what precise words to use to get a rapid response

It’s almost like it’s a preemptive setup for arrests and other “anti terrorism” bullshit. Of course it’s got nothing whatever to do with the goddamn government shutdown, and if any of these Congress people cared as much about their constituents as they care about kissing Trump’s ass, they might take umbrage with Mikey’s lies.
