    Good for her.

    In other news, Trump is going to allocate funds illegally to pay the troops during the shutdown because he will want them to support him when he declares martial law.

    She’s probably right but the Supreme Court has long held that the President gets the sole and final word on whether conditions are such that the nations guard can be legally called in.

    For obvious reasons I don’t see this Supreme Court taking that power away from the Executive.

    Simply look at what the guard is doing in DC. They are out mowing lawns… They are there under the false illusion of keeping the peace. In IL tRump was trying to do the same thing he did in DC. It’s not working. The same for Portland…. He can’t just invade a State with guard members just because he wants it………………

    My feeling is it won’t matter. They are going to occupy major population centres and airports maybe by the end of the year but for sure before end of Trump’s term. It’s worked for many countries and they are following the playbook. If I was American I’d be very concerned for your future.
