  1. Shocking. This is what they voted for. Trump has a “concept of a plan” to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Believe Me! Tremendous! Winning and Winning, those Southern states are gonna say stap Mr President, we’re sick and tired of winning so much!

Schumer and Jeffries have been saying this for days now. Conservatives disproportionately take government benefits.

I hope they can see that what they thought they voted for is not what is actually happening (which applies to many policies of the current administration).

That would let them vote for a change even before they are personally affected by what they voted for but didn’t understand would happen, which is what is kind of expected.

I would love to know what media they’re still following to have some idea what they’re thinking.

  4. i’ll never forget reading that facebook comment thread about obama care. how the guy was shitting on obama care but was personally on the ACA and was talking shit about it.

the republicans really do, do a great job shooting themselves in the foot.

  5. Most people who voted for the Democrats knew this and tried to protect everyone who used it, but those who vote Republican tend to think they are only going to hurt Democrats for some reason and that their own healthcare won’t be touched. In short, the ones voting for Republicans tend to be stupid, cruel and self-destructive.

  6. This seems to prove that Dems are trying to be a party for all Americans, even the ones that won’t vote for them. They are holding the line on health care while the gov is shut down.

many of them don’t even know that’s what they have. They think it’s some other magic health care plan.

    there just that stupid.

OK, but what’s the racial balance?  Are minorities more likely to be on the ACA than their white counterparts?

  9. To all who refer to leopards eating faces should realize that most of those who rely on the ACA are poor and voted democratic in a republican state democrats barely campaign in….

  10. heartandmarrow on

Well, they should get very mad and vote out the party trying to take it away. Oh wait, the GOP has been trying to repeal the ACA for 15 years and those voters didn’t care.

  11. There’s something deeply saddening about the fact that even in the minority power, Democrats in Congress are trying to demand (continued) help for these Republicans as well as Democrats because we are all Americans.

Meanwhile, Republicans have literally said they are targeting Democratic citizens and citizens of Democratic states for harassment, firing, economic revenge plots, and more.

  12. Surprised Mississippi wasn’t higher, but then didn’t they either refuse to expand healthcare with the funds or just plain refused the funds?

Honestly it’s going to suck but I think they need to keep on taking their medicine. Let them keep suffering over and over again at the hands of Trump till they have to admit it’s his fault no more blaming Biden. After 2-3 years they will have to admit Trump fucked them over. Let them suffer the consequences of their own actions. As much as I don’t want Americans to suffer you don’t really learn until you touch the stove.

  14. The problem with the Dem shut down is they will save these stupid people from the problems they have created for themselves like they do everytime. Then they will go back to saying ‘dems do nothing’. Its a stupid cycle
