Day 15! Give it up for Day 15!
Fine, that’s it. New government. Food, shelter, healthcare, and education for everyone.
Scott Bessent is shook right now. Way too emotional for the job.
Cool reminder that a shutdown Trump Administration is hardly different than a funded Trump Administration.
“You better have alternative plans for Thanksgiving.”
I fail to see how that goes in favor of the Republicans. You ruined people’s holiday plans that way. Even if you wanted to blame the democrats, *you all* did not do or propose anything to make it better. That’s what makes these negotiations a pissing contest. If you offered something to the democrats and they rejected it, then okay, I could see reps saying “Well we offered this, see what’s going on? The Dems are ruining Thanksgiving!” But they are choosing the worst possible option by offering no alternative to those looking for action from someone. There are plenty of people in the middle who just want action from *somebody*. People say the GOP are masters of the message now but this is really terrible messaging.
This is probably gonna beat the 35-day record one, yeah? Parties are at a complete stalemate in almost every sense
America has the worst political system in the western world.
