What’s with the flames on the golden whatever in left of frame?
Are they burning incense to mask the stench of mendacity ?

Well, he’s stupid and now has dementia.  Imagine being so dumb that people just can’t tell if you are just being yourself or you have dementia.

    > “Um, who is asking for what?” he replied, prompting her to repeat her question.

    > “Whose compensation? Whose compensation? I don’t get any compensation; I do it for nothing. I gave up my salary,” Trump replied, forcing the reporter to rephrase her question.

    Dementia Don

  4. >…or give it to the White House while we restore the White House.

Yeah, there’s that “private funding” for the ballroom, coming straight from taxpayers.

When has he ever been able to answer a question? If he doesn’t know/care, he’ll have an answer in “two weeks.” If he doesn’t like the question, he attacks the questioner. He’s been doing this for a decade.

Biggest difference now is that he’s surrounded exclusively by sycophants who enable and encourage him to be his narcissistic worst.

There needs to be a serious conversation about his mental health. To be able to make logical decisions should be a requirement of anyone holding the presidential position. I understand MAGA will point and say democrats hid Bidens mental state. This needs to be addressed either way.

  7. Yet, the media finally gave in about Bidens mental health, when Trump and his campaign spent tons of time on hammering “Sleepy Joe” in people’s minds.

Now? Not a single one questions if Trump is capable of being president, and if his mental health is declining…

  8. Every day they give us a reason to overthrow them yet we do nothing. This is why they keep going.

It’s less that he can’t and more like he won’t. He never elaborates on anything or dances around the topic because in his eyes, everyone is playing into _his_ hands like the dimwit he is.

I mean he even thinks Putin and Natenyahu are playing into his hand when the exact opposite is happening.

  10. “maybe for the White House”

All these “maybes”. That means its totally his plan.

How about he asks all the Americans if they want the money taken out of their checks to make a ball room? My guess is even MAGA hat wearers wouldn’t like that.

  11. In his defense this is not a simple question. What he is doing is pure corruption. Even though he is being allowed to do whatever he wants now, the questions are eventually going to be asked. He knows anything he says now will complicate the future

  12. At least all we had to worry about with Boden is that he enjoyed taking naps. Meanwhile the Orange rapist doesn’t have a clue what is going on around him.

  13. He acts like he doesn’t understand because he knows his behavior is shitty.
He’s a narcissist and this is gaslighting and he does it all the time.

  14. It’s just typical deflection though:

    > “Are you asking the Justice Department to look into the federal investigations into you and look for compensation, and how much are you asking for?” a reporter asked Trump.

    >“Um, who is asking for what?” he replied, prompting her to repeat her question.

    >“Whose compensation? Whose compensation? I don’t get any compensation; I do it for nothing. I gave up my salary,” Trump replied, forcing the reporter to rephrase her question.

She asks again and he then kept talking about his salary. It’s a typical reframing/side-step of what she’s asking being driven into a territory he can feed to his supporters as ‘I don’t make enough money and that’s unjust so the department needs to give me money via paying for *my* ballroom.’ If you know anything true about the man, you know he’s very wealthy and is unfairly unriching his family and friends with your tax dollars and the only unfairness here is that he gets to do it all unjustly and without reprecussions. He just knocks down your government/your history/your legacy so he can make it into his.

  15. The trump we see, is the best condition they could prop him up. Behind the scenes, he’s an insecure muttering mess. What we see, is him falling apart.

  16. Can anyone link that video of that doctor who says Trump probably has 5 to 7 months left to live from what he can tell from watching his decline from the strokes?

  17. I’m not a journalist, but if I was in front of Mike Johnson. I’d ask three questions.

Are you still receiving a paycheck from the American tax payer, you do draw a government salary with benefits, correct?

So as your position as duly of the Speaker of the House, you refuse to appoint an elected member?

Millions of Americans, most of whom are in are to see their benefits not only cut from basic healthcare, but also lose assistance for food, housing, and medical conditions…how does this make America great?

    Mic drop.

  18. Conservative voters: this is your boy. This is your wizard of oz that is gonna solve all of your problems. A guy that can’t remember shit.

Just on principle, it is *wild* to think of suing the government after they investigate you. But, I guess when you have the entire court, prosecutors, and defendants in your pocket, why wouldn’t you try to shake them down for cash? Why even stop at $230 million? Just pocket all the funds from the illegal tariffs. Who’s going to stop you?

  20. People have been claiming this since his first term, but I think Trump really does have mental decline and has turned a corner in the last few months. He’s always gone off on tangents, but now he’s doing it because he doesn’t understand the context or situation he’s in.

He’s using his old bluster routine to mask that he’s really confused and doesn’t know what’s going on. This is the “improvise your way through the conversation” phase of his dementia.
