  1. The NFL sees the Latin Americans as their fastest growing market. This Superbowl they don’t care if whites and blacks can’t understand the lyrics.

  2. My dream PR response: Hey, racists? (Two uninterrupted minutes of the PR person giving the double deuce)

  3. Bad Bunny’s gonna bring the heat. He’s gonna kill it at the super Bowl. Let’s show Trump what our culture is all about

  4. I am glad to see that the NFL didn’t cave to Trump’s demands. He can get Lee Greenwood to sing in the destroyed East Wing at halftime.

Ten bucks says that they had no problems when a foreign band played at Super Bowl 35 in 2002.

  6. There’s going to a million MAGAs complaining about it the day after, saying that they didn’t watch it but somehow knowing every detail. The NFL must be loving the controversy.

The GOP sees the SB as a way to try to market their messaging and attempted to bully the NFL because Bad Bunny isn’t their profile.

Trump has been hostile toward the NFL because it refused to let him buy a team. Nothing but exerting his power for past grudges here.

  8. Honestly I bet the NFL likes the controversy. I guarantee more people watch the halftime show because of it

He is an American singing in the second most spoken language in America. I don’t see a problem, unless he and those that follow him, are just being racist jerks.

I’m really tired of having to hear what racists are upset about everyday since Trump came into politics. Having a clearly racist president who ran on racist platforms really emboldened these assholes.

  11. Trump is so uninformed that he listens to the loudest person in ANY room he is in. I don’t even think it matters who it is. Staffers, CEO’s, Presidents/ Prime Ministers, janitors, the people who bring him McDanks for lunch. He just lurches towards the loudest sound, and he will listen.

Like most things, he doesn’t know anything about Bad Bunny or where he comes from. Someone yelled this incorrect factoid at him and he made a complaint to the NFL. Which, smartly, has dismissed it. This is a pattern which is quite dangerous – he can be swayed with a loud seemingly confident voice, or with a compliment about himself or his decisions. Persons and organizations know this – just get close, and convincing him any idea is a good one, is not that difficult.

I do want to know what the plan is for the conservative halftime show that is being discussed. Who is hosting them? Do they have air time from someone that is Newsmax or OAN? Which approved musicians are performing? Are the approved musicians getting paid?

  13. I stopped watching the NFL after they started talking about Kirk like he was a hero.
Nazi Football League can get in the bin.
