  1. Well thank god we have rational people running our government. With Republicans holding the house, the senate, the executive, and the supreme court, it’s nice to know that they have somehow managed to starve 12% of American Families.

In these tough economic times, when food prices have skyrocketed, it’s great to know that exactly zero part of our government is functioning and no one has our backs.

It’s ok guys, once the ballroom is complete those SNAP recipients can come press their faces to the glass and see Trump and his cronies enjoying their fucking hors d’oeuvres .

I’m sure the number is higher than that. People share food stamps or trade them within their communities for other services that someone on the poverty line can’t afford. I’m sure daycares are going to get hit too.

The implications of letting any welfare system “run out” is going to domino effect its way economically and socially.

I don’t wanna hear no story about people stealing from grocery stores.

  4. Well. People didnt riot over CECOT. People didn’t riot over LA National Guard. People didnt riot over ICE brutality. People didnt riot over DC national guard. People didnt riot during no kings 1 or 2. People didnt riot over the white house demolition, or even C.K. People have not given him the excuse he has wanted.

Starving the poors is up next in the playbook.

The real tragedy is that 40 million americans rely on snap. We should be doing better.

  6. The GOP is literally blaming transgender people for existing as an excuse to not do their jobs. Insane that these people run our country.

  7. Trump worries about Argentinians so much they get 40 billion dollars but he does not care at all about poor Americans starving because food benefits are shut down by the gov’t closure.

Trump harms America’s poor by cutting food assistance. He harms American’s farmers with stupid trade policies. He harms America’s small business owners and self-employed by allowing health insurance premiums to jump 100+ percent. He harms all of us by disabling the national weather service, unleashing Ice Barbie’s masked thugs, closing our national parks, etc. America First my ass.

Thank you Trump, MAGA and Project 2025. Hell, while we’re at it, let’s take away all civil liberties (women’s right to vote, blacks rights to vote, bring back segregation, deem LGBTQIA+ people a “disease”, and only allow the rich and educated to vote). This is what a true vote for Trump was, and people didn’t want to believe it. He’s making true on the promises y’all thought were just liberal conspiracies.

  9. At least the accelerationists are happy. At this point, I think we *have* to join in with them, because that’s the way Trump and Republicans are forcing our hand. People are about to suddenly realize how much the government was doing for their lives and we have to be ready when the bottom falls out *before* private corpos can try to sneak in to fill the void.

Everything else they have tried to distract everyone from the Epstein list has fallen short.

Now they are going to try to force our friends, family, and neighbors to starve in the hope that we forget that they are protecting pedophiles and rapists.

This is what republicans have become.

  11. Disproportionately MAGA . They will finally come fact to face with the results of their vote.

  12. Worth it since we got to upset liberals!

However I am interested to see if being racist and transphobic is more important than eating.
