  1. Was anyone expecting Trump to *not* murder people? Under the Roberts Court, he’s above the law.

  2. Trump actions are unconstitutional and dangerous. His action is a threat to democracy and rule of law

  3. No shit, Ron. If only there were people who work in a big domed building in Washington who had the power to do something about this…

  4. So he’s admitting that these are extrajudicial killings.

Which means that yes, he could actually openly kill people and lose no support.

It also means that yes, the President can openly kill somebody extrajudicially and be immune from consequences.

These things are no longer doom-and-gloom scenarios. These are not things that *might* happen. They are now officially things that *have* happened. The President of the United States has openly murdered over 40 Venezuelan and Colombian citizens, will suffer no consequences for it, will lose no support for it, and cannot be so much as investigated let alone prosecuted for it, thanks to rulings from the Supreme Court.

Is Rand Paul, who admitted — in his own words — that these are “Extrajudicial killings” ( more commonly known as “murder”) planning on supporting the impeachment and removal of a President who has now committed over 40 murders and is planning on more?

    No?

Didn’t think so. Fuck all the way off, you useless waste of oxygen.

  5. Remember when Rand Paul was the far-right whacko end of the GOP, instead of being the closest thing to a centrist or an actual politician they can muster?

  6. Everyone should take a moment and think about the sailors implementing the kill chain. They are people. They have to live with what they have done. Many will be scarred for life.

They also didn’t sign up for this, and they can’t leave. There are huge consequences for disobeying orders, and huge consequences for obeying illegal orders. These are American patriots, and they are living in a complex and avoidable hell thanks to Trump. A great deal of blame also falls on the people around Trump that are allowing this to happen.

We owe those sailors clarity. We owe them Trump & co on trial for ordering them to commit murder.

  7. Performative talk. If they truly believe this is extrajudicial then it rises to “high crimes” which means impeachment. The same is true with his actions related to ICE, the detention centers, violating rights of due process, intimidation, and the rest. The only course is to push to remove him from office, refuse to support him and his policies and make sure nothing happens until he and his cronies are removed from office.

  8. Well, that’s because that’s what they are.

Just because a republican says it doesn’t make it more true. In fact, when republicans say anything nowadays, most sane people question it.

  9. For now, these are the final tethers of sanity. The GOP has fully morphed into Guardians of the Pedophiles. [FYI – for fellow grammar nerds, the ‘t’ is the exact same one that follows MAGA ;D] Love it or leave it, ANYONE who distances whatever Trump does from the Unitary Executive Theory is salvageable.

  10. And he would also do it to the American people if he could. You can bet if he ever gets the power to do it to Americans he will.

  11. So, he is going to drum up support to impeach, right? No, just more useless words from congressional Republicans.

  12. Isn’t this literally the plot of the tom Clancy book “clear and present danger”? In which the president ended up being the bad guy?

  13. Trump and members of the U.S. military should be sent to the Hague just like Rodrigo Duterte. It is the only place that a fair and free trial could be administered. It would also serve as a penance for America.

Oh never mind I am just reading about the Hague Invasion Act. Silly me. I thought there was a rules-based international order.

The ones who should be surprised and bothered by it don’t know what extrajudicial means.

  15. If they were real smugglers the authorities would want to interrogate them to find their boss and work there way up the chain. If they are not smugglers you would want your murder victims to disappear from the face of earth with out a trace.

Republicans are murderers and war criminals.Evil ,corrupt and traitors to the American people and the world .

I’m so confused when he finds rational thoughts. Now if only he’d find the courage to do the right thing about it. He’s becoming a Susan Collins in getting headlines for positions without the responsibility to act.

Rand will still vote with the rest of the GOP fascism. He’s no better than Susan from Maine. Plenty of talk of principles yet zero votes.
