  1. I’m cautiously optimistic, but “the media” also said that Harris would win in 2024

  2. What’s with these disarming articles? It’s not over till it actually is. Vote like your life depends on it because it does.

Never underestimate the democrat ability to have ONE person fuck us all over by saying something dumb in the last minute to change the whole countries mind. Republicans will lose badly so long as nobody goes off script and Mamdani stops making up stories about 9/11

    Same as it ever was.

Republicans have never had a good election when Trump is president but not on the ballot.

No, not thanks just to Trump. Thanks to Republicans too. They own all of this as well.

    >As Decision Desk HQ’s Geoffrey Skelley explains, there is nearly always a backlash against incumbent presidents in their first year in office, boosting the opposite party in the New Jersey and Virginia races.

So glad they mentioned this because I think a lot of people underestimate this factor in these two races specifically. I work in NJ politics and have for a long time. NJ voters consistently shift multiple % based on the party of the current president. That’s partially the reason why someone like Chris Christie can win two terms in a state that voted for both him and Obama twice each during the same 10 year span.

A lot of people have worried about Jack Ciatarelli because he almost beat Phil Murphy in 2021, but when you factor in that Biden was president the close race starts to make a bit more sense. Ciatarelli doesn’t have that same benefit. He doesn’t have anti-vaccine and masking sentiments boosting his campaign. He took a big hit last week because voters have learned he wants to undo marriage equality in NJ, a state that codified marriage equality before Obergefell was decided.

Mikie Sherrill is also about 5% ahead of where Harris was at this time in early voting last year. A lot has been said about Harris underperforming in NJ but the bottom line is she still won and Sherrill is on pace to outperform her. If you’re able to vote in either state, definitely do so. That being said, you’d *much* rather be Mikie Sherrill than Jack Ciatarelli at this point in early voting.

Edit for clarity: Mixed up my timeline. NJ legalized gay marriage through a court ruling before Obergefell and officially codified it in 2022.

Republicans only have one move left- install Trump as a fascist dictator.

They hooked their wagon, and decades of preparation for their “legal” coup, on a fucking clown because he turned their voters into a cult for himself.

Otherwise, I foresee things ending really badly for them in the long-term. Cults don’t generally give a shit about number 2 in line, which per my notes is a guy who wears bad eyeliner and fucked couches.

  8. oh no do polls show that a democrat might win? lol not falling for that crap again, it’s all just BS.

Just go out and vote, nothing can be taken for granted. Also, Release the Epstein Files.

  10. They’ll just cheat, lie, steal, etc. They don’t care, they’s no real consequences for them.

  11. He doesn’t care. He is trying to steal the midterms and 2028. He is short circuiting the system. No one is holding him accountable.
