Had a weird tin foil hat moment today. And like, surely it’s just a ridiculous thought but… was reading through the comments on a post about “what’s a fact about WWII…” and this particular comment chain was about how all these Nazis fled to Argentina, how Hitler possibly faked his own death and also ended up there. How the Vatican assisted, Argentina welcomed. People were saying things like “the 4th reich” and whatnot.
Then I thought, well what if. What if those same people and their cohorts quietly rose to power within Argentina. What if the Nazis as a political power never truly went away. What if….
And here we are. Well not “we” so much as the powers that be. Here THEY are suddenly propping up Argentina. Bailing them out. Strengthening the bond. Meanwhile our constitution is being used to wipe the collective asshole of the MAGAGOP.
