And Trump threw a lavish Great Gatsby party last night in Mar-A-Lago.

So, you’re ready to start uniting with all the MAGAz who voted against SNAP?

No kings might be spreading themselves to thin to be fair. Like you can focus on that. But that takes time and resources from other projects. Happens to a ton of lobbying or political orgs.

They need to vote in the 90% instead of 30% they are doing right now. If all the democrats and their allies voted, there wouldn’t be but a handful of GOP in the House to hold up things. But even in Oregon, with vote by mail, this weeks election is sub 30% for all voters! The oligarchs see this and aren’t worried by the protests. Voting would change the system. Apparently people can’t be bothered, even when it’s easy.

Hopefully the federal case that overturned that will get us our benefits again this month but I’m not holding my breath.

That’s so funny, it’s almost like Americans are about to be forced to face head-on that asking authoritarians nicely to “be better” on *one* Saturday per month, or standing outside blowing bubbles and waving cardboard signs during business hours, isn’t going to make any tangible change for those the government already didn’t care for!
Oh, and FYI? They’re Americans, so they won’t be helping anyone else in need going forward; the concept of selflessness and goodwill without personal profit in return is *extremely* offensive to their culture. They will only ever help you when they can turn your hardship into a performance for them to save you from.

There should be a NO KINGS marking on the same piece of paper that says SNAP accepted…
It’s a subtle reminder to Republicans who need the help, that the “other party” they hate so much, stands against the type of shit your dear leader pulls. That’s WHY they are helping you.
They have some fucking compassion.

Can someone explain to me because I’m ignorant and I truly just want to understand the other side of thinking but what is actually authoritarian about the American government that should be protested?

As far as I’m concerned right now, if I see someone stealing clothes and food— no I didn’t
