Kudos to New Mexico. These families will have more buying power which in the long run, will help the retail economy tremendously.

I don’t see any info on how much these ‘vouchers’ will be for, which is the real tell. Daycare is expensive. Good daycare even more so. Will the state pay for quality daycare?

I don’t think how many people don’t realize how much childcare is. It’s almost $2000/mo on the cheap end to watch your kid (just one) from 9-5. If you make $15/hr, you don’t even take that much home after taxes.
