As they see themselves losing, they must exert more control over it so they don’t lose. Totally not authoritarian behavior.

The president and Steven Miller have no authority over elections in the US so they can just sit there and be angry.

  3. I imagine the EO will be issued following the close of polls and it will be an illegal order attempting to invalidate mail-in voting.

  4. They are running scared and panicked about losing next year’s midterms, and so are doing everything they can to make sure only the white landed gentry will be able to vote, just like the good old days.

  5. Translation: The White House is working on a way to circumvent election results it does not like.

What more can this pedophile do? Declare himself emperor and dissolve congress completely?

They know they literally can’t do that, right? It’s up to the states. They could get state republicans to infiltrate from the inside to get the same results, but EOs don’t actually do anything

He can sign all the EOs he wants on voting….he has NO jurisdiction when it comes to voting…that a state rights thing. Government overreach much?

Where are the states rights Republicans at? How did a band of lunatic fringe under the MAGA banner come to silence everyone? The Constitution puts voting in the hands of the states. As far as wide scale voter fraud, it does not happen. The last voter irregularities that triggered an investigation was a half dozen Republicans in Idaho who voted in a district they did not reside in. Why? Because they owned rental properties in that town and there was a ballot measure to restrict them. Four of them didn’t even live in Idaho.

It wouldn’t shock me here if Congress refuses to seat representatives from California, declaring the elections invalid due to mail in voting. They’re setting up the fall back option for the midterms.

Why do we sane people, a greater number than magats, still recognize this motherfucker’s authority? He’s pissing on the Constitution on a daily basis; why do we still cede to his authority?

  12. white house working on an executive order that has no force because only states manage elections

  13. Repeat after me —— The power to set election laws and procedures is assigned by the Constitution to state legislatures and Congress, not the president. While the president can draft EOs, they do not override state or federal law on any day of the year.

  14. For fucks sake people this is a big fucking deal. Oh he’s working on an executive order on elections? Why? Is there something he’s planning?
