  1. >“I honestly feel bad,” Fox News’ Sean Hannity said as the results came in Tuesday night, informing viewers that his friends “are officially depressed and scared” after Mamdani clinched the mayoralship.

    Oh no. Anyway . . .

  2. In other news I stubbed my toe this morning. Please send thots and prayers. Thank-you for your attention in this matter.

  3. Maybe “muah ha ha, we are the bad guys, we love hurting people” wasn’t a winning electoral message 🤷‍♂️

  4. As a black Virginian I love the irony of a black republican losing in Virginia (only getting 9% of the black vote) while a white democrat won.

We care about policies and quality of life. Not everything is about race to most of us.

“We don’t care about the color of your skin or your religion. We care about the content of your character, that’s who we are”

So they will stop screaming “DEI” at anyone not a white male?

I wonder if Republicans in Congress are beginning to realize that supporting Trump’s insanity could be hazardous to their political careers.

  7. If the Republicans believe that the problem is their messaging, they’re in more trouble than they think they are.

It’s almost as if most Americans truly do love the freedoms their country was founded upon and don’t like Nazis or fascism.

  9. “ Even though, as I said, the economy is starting to boom and the inflation rate is not that bad. It’s 3%. It’s not getting any worse.” Even before the polls had closed, Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer expressed exasperation and confusion: “What does affordability even mean?”

    WTF.

  10. “Number two, cut out the identity politics, it doesn’t suit Republicans, it’s not for us, that’s the woke left’s game, not ours. We don’t care about the color of your skin or your religion. We care about the content of your character, that’s who we are.”

Yeah, this statement is so blatantly manufactured.

  11. >”Republicans can’t win without ‘Big Daddy’ Trump on the ballot”

Oh, Trump was most certainly on the ballot

I dont know why they are surprised. That just shows they do not live in Reality.. they live in MAGA world 🤷🏻‍♂️

Who would’ve thought that doing multiple things to hurt millions of people isn’t a good platform to run and win elections on!

“Republicans experience catastrophic rapid decompression, killing hundreds, after face-melting Democratic victories literally destroy GOP”

    Love these headlines.

  15. My favorite was Mike Johnson calling it ‘blue states’. Yeah, Virginia which has a governorship which the GOP hold right now that they lost, the a Lt Governor position they hold right now (the sitting Lt Gov also was their Governor candidate), and the incumbent GOP state AG lost to a guy with a major scandal. Oh and the State House they controlled up until a couple years ago and hoped to get back? They lost a net 13 seats out of 100 total. Totally a blue state, hope VA remembers that in the future.

  16. Just in time for the GOP to point fingers and say how Dems have caused all the problems.

“They’re the ones in charge now! It’s their fault!”

  17. How long until election commissions start declaring fraud and that the Republicans actually won, I wonder?

  18. Vivek’s comments about republicans not caring about religion and race made me LOL. Has he been living under a rock? Does he think he’s the right shade of brown to be accepted by MAGA?

  19. I won’t overstate the importance of Democrats winning two gubernatorial elections in blue states, but this is a reason why elections matter – even if their seats aren’t up for election, the results of these off year elections are closely watched by national politicians around the country, including the President. Republicans coming to a realization that Trump’s policies are unpopular and that Dems were flipping seats in VA that Trump had won by 5 points will also be less willing to support him unconditionally as they have up to now knowing that their seats and political lives are at stake, which weakens his grip on Congress. Trump’s election watchers in Passaic county and CA also did not seem to deter Democratic voters.
