I’m just going to lay it out there:

We know. The courts know. Congress knows. All law enforcement agencies across the country have been doing it since their formation. Nobody in the government wants to change it, although every single branch can do **something** about it.

  2. Not just arresting them, kidnapping them and making them disappear. It’s totally at their discretion who they take and who they ignore. I’ve never seen anything like it. Jesus Christ!

    From the article:

“All Americans, even those for whom immigrants are instinctively “other,” should be disgusted by these abominations, which make clear that there is no foolproof protection for anyone, Americans included, from ICE’s rabid tactics.”

If there were any actual conservatives left in the Republican Party they’d be angrier about this than anyone.

But the entire GOP is now just Trump’s cult. None of them has the guts to stand up to him.

  4. Hey, the Constitution is more of a guideline y’all. Stop taking it so literal. What, do you think EVERYONE gets rights? Silly Liberals.

    Now, show me your papers.

MAGA voters are so despicable. MAGA policies are so despicable. MAGA is traitorous, bigoted, and pure evil. Goddamn I’m sick of this timeline.

  6. Crime rates were going down everywhere, until Trump sent in his criminal ICE goons.

Now, America is suffering a dangerous wave of ICE crime.

  7. They resemble the CIA in its early days. Tons of money, zero oversight, chock full of actual Nazis. Nothing could go wrong here

It was always about getting rid of brown people.

Never about “legal immigration” or “waaah the children waaah the women.” That was always an excuse.

Been saying this since day one.

  9. Here I present no opinions, only questions you must answer for yourself.

    1. Do you trust the federal government to protect you?

    2. Do you believe that this administration is specifically targeting groups of people?

    3. Do you trust in the courts ability to protect you with the established laws of the country?

    4. Do you believe that federal law enforcement is currently respecting our rights as guaranteed to us by The Constitution?

    5. If a federal officer was targeting you and breaking the law, do you think that local or state law enforcement would stop them to protect you?

    6. Do you trust the elected representatives of your party to defend you?

    7. Do you think anyone else will come to your rescue?

    8. Do you believe in equal rights for all people’s and would you fight to defend those rights from an unjust force?

    9. Who benefits more from gun control at this time?

    10. Are you in a position to defend yourself if others won’t fight for you?

  10. The Latino community on average voted for this because the figured being American citizens would make them safe and only the bad illegals would get punished. No bro…

  11. So there’s literally an amendment that the right is constantly insisting is necessary to prevent government tyranny. Citizens using volence against a tyrannical government is literally enshrined in our constitution, Republicans have pointed it it repeatedly when the Bundys were aiming rifles at Bureau of Land Management workers. This is a long-standing admission that violence against tyrannical government agents is 100% permissible and why the 2nd Amendment exists. I’m literally quoting Fox News here, and any number of big Republican officials have said the same. Charlie Kirk said we need the 2nd Amendment to protect against government tyranny, and that’s so essential it’s worth the cost of children being constantly murdered in our schools.

I can’t advocate anything, because that’s not allowed, so to be clear I’m just pointing something out. Because this is pretty clearly the kind of government tyranny they’re talking about.

  12. I understand the “we knew this was happening” takes. We did know. A lot of us expected it.

But it is really important that this is documented and reported and not forgotten or accepted as normal

Lucky for ICE that American citizens reading abilities are so low that they only read the first line of Martin Niemöller poetic quote and then stopped.

In a world where formerly renowned mainstream media outlets weren’t knowingly complicit, this would be the stuff of a bold, all-caps/italics New York Times / Wapo headline akin to the fucking moon landing.

  15. ICE is scum. And anyone who joins now is worse than scum. One day no one will admit to it. But do not let them forget.

I think it would be best to refer to Hispanic ICE agents as Tío Tomás from now on. Because that’s what they are.

And I still see MAGA trash saying dumb shit like “this wouldn’t happen if they were here legally”

    They’re such disgusting creatures

That ICE / Proud Boy losers are getting 100k a year and big bonuses while ATCs, TSA, and many other federal employees are having to work without pay for the past 5 weeks tells you everything you need to know about this administration and its priorities.

(Plus gov’t spending 40 billion on Argentina, 300 million for a ballroom, 200 million for Noem’s private vets, millions more for Gatsby parties, etc, and so on.)

  19. Which-Mix-5378 on

It’s going to get a point where us citizens need to fight ICE when they start taking people. It’s at the point where a taken may not see their loved ones again and the courts or local police won’t save us
