It’s almost like destroying the economy, violently abducting people on the street in broad daylight, and shutting the government down isn’t popular with the general public
You can almost hear Trump insisting Connecticut doesn’t count because in his world, every loss is rigged and every win is historic.
Connecticut always votes Blue in presidential elections but many local elections were Red strongholds. Very happy to be a part of it to flip my town!
Because they are enacting deeply unpopular policy that even the MAGA wallet can’t ignore.

One of these towns is mine. We flipped mayor from red to blue, picked up two additional town council seats for a 7-3 majority, and now control BOE and Planning and Zoning.
It was a very good day for Dems in CT.
Democrats need to be working on local elections in rural areas. This is how the GOP took control of so many state assemblies and it’s a fundamental problem that needs to be fixed if there’s to be any real fix to our political system.
