Americans should be happy, they got what they voted for…

Elections have consequences. And if you believe the fascists are better for the economy, you also have to bear the consequences…

  2. It’s not only that Republicans aren’t interested in improving the lives of American families, it’s that they’re actively and deliberately making things worse.

  3. Dude, honestly I ain’t shocked tho. Trump’s been tankin’ our econ since day 1. F’s in the chat for our future, man… This is some scary shit tbh. Economic hope? More like economic Nope 😒 Smh. C’mon ‘murica, let’s get our shit together.

But he said the economy is fantastic just the other day. Why would he say something if it wasn’t true?

  5. But Trump promised to fix all of this!

I have put thousands on my credit cards to speed things up and can’t wait to pay them off with my Trump Tariff Refund once China pays it tariff bill!

Thanksgiving bill DOWN! Wasteful food spending by the poors DOWN! American industry UP! (Why else would prices increase after tariffs paud by China are here!) I AM TIRED OF WINNING! /s

  6. Its not done the administration is currently trying to destroy ACA to give rich people more money and he is starving poor Americans to do so. All the while building a militarized police state to protect the wealthy.

  7. I think those of us on the left expected, and have been planning for, at *least* four years of economic hardship.

The deliberate refusal to raise the minimum wage despite continually increasing COL already had people cutting back on non essentials. The wage floor effects everybody. I remember Reagan saying “a rising tide lifts all boats”, but the tide rises *below* the boats, not above. Loading all the gold onto a few boats will never raise the tide. And we’ve been in this class war for how long now? 40 years?

I was told in poli sci 101 that US politics is a pendulum that swings from the left to the right, then back to the left. But all I’ve seen is the continual eroding of middle class by ever rightward economic policy. The working people have been pushing the stone of Sisyphus uphill our entire lives, and the investing class has been on the other side, pushing the stone back down. Well, guess who has the advantage?

I’d like to remind everyone of what the middle class is: you can afford a home, a yearly vacation, plus *a few extras*. A boat, a vacation cabin, a regular concert schedule, etc. Are you middle class? Because I’m not, and I make $40 an hour.

  8. Without comment:

*”Prices are down under the Trump administration. And they’re down substantially.”* – Trump, yesterday

  9. Honestly, this also leaves me befuddled and suspicious at the, by comparison, rosy unemployment numbers.

  10. We need more articles outlining how much he’s enriched himself and his inner circle since returning to office. Would provide a nice gut punch to his supporters as they look at their grocery and utility bills this month.
