Those seven Democrats would do the rest of us far more good if they would publicly sponsor extensive food drives to feed the people Republicans are starving, rather than placating Trump by accepting some promise the GOP will only break later.
The GOP will weasel on any deal they commit to, and everybody in Washington knows it. Let a few thousand more business flights get cancelled amd stand fast, stay the course, the GOP will swirl right to the bottom of the bowl and be emasculated forever.
They started signalling cooperation on Friday when 1000 flights got delayed or cancelled. They were ready to deal–but they don’t get to decide. Let them drown in this, they caused it and they deserve it. Do NOT throw them a life jacket.
This is a complete humiliation of Democrats. It shows how weak they and their leaders are. This country desperately needs a third party.

This has already been posted. This is what Newsom actually wanted so he could say things like this and it would make him the nominee for 2028 just for the democrats to lose again.
Democrats just trounced the GOP in the recent election and had momentum. Instead of rewarding the voters who sided with them, this absolutely cowardly capitulation just stalled any political momentum they had.
Let them be forever remembered as The Cowardly Eight. For forty days, they let the American people suffer, for what? So they could surrender and show the world what a laughing stock our country has become?
They are not weak, pathetic, or stupid. They are bought and paid for and have no moral rectitude to be found.
I truly hope all eight of these people, and MAGA Republican politicians, find themselves on a congested interstate, on a hot summer day, with no A/C and diarrhea.
