  1. So he’s freeing everyone who helped him try to steal the 2020 election less than a year before the mid term and on a day where the story would be absolutely be buried down below countless articles about the shutdown ending. Not suspicious at all.

  2. Presidential pardons are stupid and should be removed/repealed. Trump’s running it as a pay to pardon racket… on the main!

  3. We need a mother fucking miracle. Where’s it going to come from and what’s it going to be? I can’t let myself believe this is it, that all this chaos is all that’s left. It’s just too awful.

  4. How many current maladministration officials have undated pardons ready to show off the day they leave office and/or are accused of something?

  5. As a legal matter, so fucking weird.

Was anyone on this list convicted of any Federal crimes ? Are any of them facing non-dismissed cases before Friday ?

I think that this is really just a way of poking Jack Smith in the nose, pardoning everyone else who could have been named in the same conspiracy indictment (there were un-named co-conspirators including Giuliani, Chesebro, Powell, etc) that Trump was charged with for January 6. It moots the J6 lawyers’ conspiracy prosecution forever, so it can never be even theoretically resuscitated.

And of course it comes out a couple days late, on social media, instead of being something the President or even the Pardon Attorney and Attorney General will speak formally about.

Trump is making an absolute mockery of the judicial system. How anyone thinks this is ok is beyond me.

Honestly I know executive clemency is an ancient convention and the Constitution requires it. But I hope there is some way to limit it. Because this is obviously conspiratorial behavior by someone who benefited from the crime being forgiven, and it has been going on for years.

OTH Rudy Giuliani’s life has been utterly destroyed because of his loyalty to Trump, he will die penniless, disgraced, and a worldwide laughinstock, and nobody will come to his funeral. None of that can be undone.

The corruption in the Trump administration is unparalleled in US history. It’s a.vile place

  9. At this point I have to ask, and sorry for being blunt and rude but giving all the happened .. when will americans’ indifference turn into outrage?

I mean, I understand the stupidity of a percentage of the population, but still, for all americans who have brains and can see, these things are done openly, without any shame … doesn’t the prospect of a future in an autocratic society scare you?

  10. There’s nothing stopping Trump from pardoning people who assassinate his political rivals. America has derailed

They’re just openly admitting there are no consequences anymore. If you’re loyal to him, you get a pardon. If you’re not, you get threats. It’s less “law and order” and more “protect the crew at all costs.”

  12. Trumps Team: Oh fuck, we got trounced in this week’s elections. We will need to do some serious ratfuckery to get through the mid-terms. How can we send a message that breaking the law to support the Republicans in future elections will not be a problem?
