Demos need to win the midterms big. And it doesn’t seem like Schumer is the guy to help us get there.

    Schumer is a sellout.

He orchestrated this and he did it in such a way that his hands could appear clean.

He needs to be removed as minority leader. Call your senators and urge this course of action. I’ve called mine already.

And yes, primary his quisling ass.

None of these “Decorum Democrats” will be up for reelection next year either… Donald Trump has no plans to leave the White House, with its new ballroom and bathrooms, in 2028 and the “threat” of primary elections is no longer sufficient. These defeatist Democrats need to be intensely pressured, now, to resign immediately:

    Angus King (Maine): age 81

    Tim Kaine (Virginia): age 67

    Dick Durbin (Illinois): age 80

    John Fetterman (Pennsylvania): age 55

Maggie Hassan (New Hampshire): age 67

Jeanne Shaheen (New Hampshire): age 78

Catherine Cortez Masto (Nevada): age 61

    Jacky Rosen (Nevada): age 68

Schumer clearly arranged the Democratic surrender in the Senate. He’s a spineless, ineffective leader. Time for a change.

Primaries have been needed and have ongoing since 2018. The problem is people do not show up to vote for progressive challengers and don’t show up when progressives are under attack. Way too many keyboard warriors and almost none who are willing to put in the actual work. Year after year I’ve been hoping for a breakthrough, but it hasn’t happened yet.

  6. The reason Schumer is so useless is the reason why it’s going to be hard to remove him as minority chair, he made a handshake deal with a bunch of independently minded dems (including Bernie Unfortunately) that he wouldn’t use the threat of removing senators from committee assignments as leverage to make sure people held ranks.

  7. The people protested the wrong party. Conservative Republicans were never gonna care about how many anti-Trump signs you carried through the streets. It’s time for this feckless party to feel some deserved wrath.

  8. Before the primaries we can start by having him removed from position of minority leader!

Calling your senator takes about 30 seconds to do, and holds more credence than a email.

When I called I made sure to tell them that I was a registered voter, member of their party, and frequent donor. Chuck Schumer had proved a ineffectual leader who could not even corral his whip for a vote of this magnitude.

  9. Primary is too late. He needs to be removed from leadership, which could happen any day, as long as the rest know what is good for them.

  10. I 💯 support primarying Schumer. It’s time for term and age limits for all congress. We shouldn’t have old mentality in our congress anymore. They are killing progressives that don’t want to stay middle of the road.

I have to admit, this has all been far too easy. We have taken everything you people valued and crushed it beneath our heel. Abortion will be fully gone soon. Transgender care will soon be gone entirely. Gay marriage will be gone soon (we had a small setback, we’ll still get it, don’t worry.)

I hate Democrats and liberalism in general, but what do I hate more? How WEAK you all are. You are like kids on a playground who refuse to hit back. It’s so pathetic and disgusting. I loathe that more than any of your policy positions. Your lack of spirit and will to fight makes you all unworthy to have any say in this wonderful country.

Try and stop us, wimps. How’s it been going so far?

  12. People please show up and vote in the primaries sick of people thinking we can tweet and protest our way to a better world. 😤

Next step is voting him out of leadership. I refuse to vote for another democrat until they do. If they refuse to vote him out it is obvious they support his actions. In that case they no longer represent my values and I can’t with good conscience vote for any of them.
