“The Epstein affair does reveal the first glimpses of the inevitable lame-duck phase of Trump’s political career.”

  2. Perhaps the reason this time “feels different” is that there are finally some Republicans deciding that they can no longer support pedophiles… that’s most likely a matter of political pragmatism, but good to see, nevertheless.

  3. >In it, Epstein notes that Trump spent “hours at my house” with one of Epstein’s unnamed victims.

As an (ex)Beaver leader, one of the most important parts of safeguarding is:

    >[Do not plan to be alone with a child or young person in Scouts, either online or in person.](https://www.scouts.org.uk/volunteers/staying-safe-and-safeguarding/safe-scouting-cards/safeguarding-code-of-conduct-for-adults-yellow-card/)

Can anyone provide a *non-*paedophilic reason why a business magnate happened to be spending hours with a sex-trafficking victim? He’s not a private tutor, he’s not a relative, he’s not a friend, so…

  4. All it means is everyone will know he is a pedophile and still do nothing but normalize pedophilia

  5. For me it’s that they didn’t call it a hoax, or fake news, etc. right away. NOPE, instead they confirmed it by naming the redacted name. Doing that validated the emails, which means he’s saying yes, he spent hours in Epstein’s house with the victim!!!

    LOCK HIM UP!!!

Oh, we know which victim he spent hours with at Epstein’s house, it was Virginia Guiffre, but don’t worry she made a statement, before committing suicide, saying nothing happened…

Has Epstein only been an “obsession of the far left and the far right”? Are moderates okay with the twisted, biblical level of evil and amorality that runs through our ruling elites? Has no on thought of the shape of the world under the rule of such vile scum?

Until he’s impeached and imprisoned, nothing has really changed. Will continue to allow politicians to make millions from their positions

Who do you call to investigate the DOJ and FBI when they’re running interference and covering up crimes for the president?

  9. Here is why I don’t think it’s different. Go look at the conservative subreddit.

They don’t have a different spin on it. They aren’t talking about it. It’s not penetrating their news cycle. They aren’t thinking about it, and they don’t care. Every post there is about some weird conspiracy you haven’t even heard of. We are two entirely different thought and reality ecosystems coexisting.

Donny sitting staring into the mirror with the headlines scattered about his table.

Oh take me back to the night we met…
I don’t know what I’m supposed to do haunted by the ghost of you…oh take me back to the night we met

This is all putting us in a negative-feedback loop, too – the more the Epstein heat is turned up, the crazier Dirty Don acts. The crazier he acts, more and more people are hurt and the heat for Epstein gets turned up. Rinse and repeat.

  12. All these years of chaos because Donnie is upset that Bubba didn’t give him the cigar treatment.

  13. Maybe so but GOP will defend him to the end. Need lots of votes to impeach then we have to deal with the couch fucker manipulated by Miller, Bannon, Stone,Johnson and the rest of the puppeteers

  14. It’ll feel different once there’s some accountability. This is just more of the same, frankly.

We already know he’s in the files. We already know he abused his victims. We already know he was deeply involved with Epstein and his operation. These are just the raw details, more facts supporting that long ago reached conclusion.
