Honestly, I think MAGA will always be Trump’s brand name. The ex-MAGAs leaping off the train right now are calling themselves “American First,” and in fact MTG signs most of her X posts with “America First; America Only” now.

That’s quite a spin. It actually would be ‘better’ if Trump was being pressured to cover up the Epstein files – as opposed to him personally wanting to cover up the Epstein files to protect himself.

Trump is one of the main sources of all the pressure. I’m sure he has rich friends pushing him too, but he’s not just their pawn he’s protecting himself.

It is going to take a 67 vote majority in the Senate to override a Trump veto of the “Epstein File Transparency Act”.

This has always been a long shot.

What it will do however is get votes on the record for 2026 and further show just how far DJT is willing to go to cover this all up.

Pressed by CNN to say whether she believed that it was Israel directly pressuring Trump on the matter of Epstein, Greene backed off.

“No,” she responded.

“I simply just asked, out loud, ‘is there a foreign government’ — it could be any foreign government — but is a foreign government pushing to cover this up?” Greene said.

Bash shot back that it was “pretty obvious” Greene’s suspicions fell on Israel, given her mention of AIPAC in a tweet about the story.

“I’m questioning that government in particular, and I’m questioning any other foreign government [that could be involved],” said Greene.”

Lol! It is hilarious that she is playing to the loyalists but with tongue in cheek because she knows good and well that it isn’t that Trump is IN the Epstein files, it is that he IS the Epstein files moreso than any man alive often several times over and the volume of released info and Epstein’s own statements on video do nothing but reinforce that line of evidence. It also burns down the Ghislaine “Always a gentleman as far as I saw” statement that Blanche cooked up in a way that even Maga cannot deny. This way MTG looks like she didnt totally burn a bridge, but she still gets to say she held out for release when it inevitably turns out he is all over everything. She is a canny operator as much as I dislike her penchant for willful ignorance and misinformation.

The other issue with the base high and low turning on Trump is that now we have a consistent track record on jobs, tourism, deficits, and trade that is undeniably the worst on record. It compromises even him and every brag about his policies highlights their failure and the “pie in the sky” nature of foreign investments in these trade blackmails. Had Trump merely gone status quo and redone his first term, these events largely could not have happened and he would be riding high in polls going to midterms even with his weak program that was nothing better than tax cuts to the donors bribing him (and indeed both parties legally now for decades thanks to the Supremes) and crackwhore deficits. Much of the available part of the navy is blowing up random boats in a situation where even if they are narcotics it is a waste of money relative to other options. Even a few R can see that the monthly deficits are insane to not be in a world war and get nervous about govt financial reports going into more of a Russian type of hide the ball situation.
