Regardless of whether it’s true or not, it *sounds* so absurd that MAGA folks will never ever believe it, and the absurdity of it will likely signal to them that, if “the left” is willing to peddle a story so ridiculous, then the rest of this stuff must be lies as well.
But also, a story like this kind of takes over the entire scandal and, instead of focusing on the horrific fact that our president may have been involved in the rape and trafficking of children, we’re just making jokes about him sucking another guy’s dick. It trivializes a very serious issue.
