“Will?” They’ve been doing it for months. Grinning goofball Mike Johnson refused to swear in a rep just to protect a pedo.

  2. We are in officially in bizarro land when MTG starts becoming the voice of reason.

She does have a point. Let everyone who voted to cover up a pedophile ring carry that stigma with them for the rest of their lives

Republicans: “I already said I was going to vote against it. You don’t have to sell it.”

Yep NyPost, he’s just being “Dramatic”. Throwing a pissy little temper tantrum about *checks notes* bringing child rapists to justice.

Yeah y’all can suck a cock with your disingenuous framing of this one. But I really shouldn’t expect anything better from a glorified titty tabloid which occasionally reports extremely slanted news in between centerfolds.

I kind of hate Massie,  but he is not wrong on this issue and I do give him credit for standing up in this moment and pushing it.

  6. At the end of the day, he’s right. MAGA doesn’t support other Republicans and 5 years from now these pedo protectors will be like but but….. because they think we’ll all have amnesia…sir is that your signature is all we gotta say.

    >“I would remind my Republican colleagues who are deciding how to vote: Donald Trump can protect you in red districts right now by giving you an endorsement, but by 2030, he’s not gonna be the president, and you will have voted to protect pedophiles if you don’t vote to release those files,” Massie warned on ABC’s “This Week.”

    >“The record of this vote will last longer than Donald Trump’s presidency.”

The magas will just double down and probably campaign on legalizing child marriage nationwide in 2028

  9. Anyone who votes against releasing the files is probably in them and should be treated accordingly.

What I don’t get is the “why” here. If you’re currently in the GOP, getting rid of trump is in your long term best interest. You’ll still have the presidency, senate, and house if you impeach him, and you will have a year to let the short term memories of the voting public start to forget who is on the list especially if those people don’t run again. The information is going to come out one way or another, and the sooner the GOP lets the cat out of the bag, the sooner they can start to separate themselves from the scandal. Furthermore, the more of the GOP that gets on the right side of history the more likely their current centrist base will still vote Republican in the future.
