But but orange felon said the files didn’t exist?! Are you telling me he LIED?!??!!!

He currently has base believing that a fifteen year old is an adult.

He has them right where he needs them right now.

  3. 1000 FBI agents have carpal tunnel after spending the past 10 months redacting every Republican name in those files, including at least 10,000 mentions of “Trump”.

It appears as though pretty much everyone is paying close attention to this now. My guess is that any attempt Trump or the DOJ makes to hide anything in this case will be plainly obvious even to most of MAGA. He’s walking on thin ice here. The real question is, does he know this?

  5. 100% suspicious, but it is movement

There will be people able to call out where things have been “scrubbed”. There’s no way that stuff stays hidden/buried for long

  6. Only because they have an alternate path to block it, or they’re only going to release damaging for dems info

  7. “Even if the measure passes through the House and Senate and is ultimately signed into law by Trump, it’s unlikely the Justice Department would release the entire Epstein file, according to sources. Any materials related to ongoing investigations or White House claims of executive privilege will likely remain out of public view.”

There it is. He’s probably going to use executive privilege. Why not I mean it’s a young bill. He likes them young.

Bondi will announce that the files can’t be released as they are part of the ongoing investigation that Trump started yesterday!

  9. There’s a reason the shutdown went on so long and Grijalva wasn’t sworn in. They knew their time was running out on scrubbing his name.

They put the finishing touches in the edits and immediately Trump and Johnson said “we want them released now.”

  10. I want the files to be released but I am also not optimistic that anything will come of it.

The chain of custody on those files is non-existent. At this point we have no idea what’s been redacted, deleted, omitted, etc.

I am not expecting there will be a “smoking gun” and teflon Don escapes again.

  11. Once the files are released we’ll find that a lot of them have been classified : coincidently, the ones tying Epstein to Trump and Republicans.

So this same bill didnt pass a while back. Have they just got marching orders from Trump that the files have been destroyed so vote yes? This just sucks.

10 months is apparently a sufficient amount of time to thoroughly tamper with evidence.

So this basically means Trump scrubbed the files so he’s not in it. Probably added Dem names

So I read the twitter post and it’s not unreasonable as to why he voted no. Epstein was in contact with a lot of people and I would say most likely had nothing to do with his crimes. It sounds like from this bill (according to R- Higgins) all names will be released no matter where they appear.

I still think this is the correct move to release everything but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say censor some names like victims that never came out.

“After months of anticipation” thats not exactly what I would call what the Republicans did, but okay I guess?

  17. Doesn’t matter. They have had a lot of time to edit it. What they release will be what they want us to see, not what the truth actually is.

  18. >The measure — called “The Epstein Files Transparency Act” — would compel Attorney General Pam Bondi to make available all “unclassified records, documents, communications and investigative materials” in the Department of Justice’s possession related to Epstein.

AH, there’s the game. *Everything* in the Epstein files is about to be classified.

Unfortunately this is effectively confirmation that the files have been compromised. No way that many Republicans would vote yes unless they knew Trump’s name had been scrubbed completely.
