Of course it won’t. Someone is going to come up with an excuse. Senate might ignore it or write in stipulations, Trump will veto and won’t get enough votes when it returns to congress, or Bondi might call an investigation to seal the files indefinitely.

If the president is one of the main people listed the files, a criminal, he should have no involvement in editing or releasing.

They should be coming from a neutral place to avoid conflict of interest. No redacted files should be accepted unless it’s only victims names removed.
