Yeah, for that to happen, standards of conduct would have to matter and be applied uniformly.

    So . . . no. Not ever.

  2. I expect that none of these low-level flunkies will face legal ramifications because Trump will pardon them all, but people like Lindsey Halligan will be living and working for a long time after Trump is gone, and professional disgrace/being unable to practice law at all will make the rest of her life dramatically more difficult.

None of these idiots understand that clout won’t pay the bills forever, that they are not getting paid anywhere close to enough to ruin their lives and careers, or that there is no MAGA pension to fall back on. He’s not going to waste a cent on someone who’s no longer of any use to him.

Look at all of the pathetic hangers on who tried to help Trump overturn the 2020 election. They might’ve gotten pardoned, but that didn’t help them pay the bills after they were disbarred, or pay their legal fees when they were sued civilly, so they desperately tried to stay in the inner circle and humiliate themselves to stay somewhat relevant.

  3. Halligan is going to need a new career. Good thing for her she already looks like a Fox News host.

Too bad every flunky in the Trump admin can just become a Fox News host as a fallback plan.

  5. In the famous words of Lindsey Halligan after a judge told her that her signature was on a document she just said she did not sign, “Okay. Well.”

  6. I do believe when all of this is over, Bondi will no longer be allowed to practice law. That I’m certain of.

She’ll still talk the talk because she’ll slot in nicely with the Fox News Barbies, but that’s not practicing law that’s just cosplaying law, which she’s doing now effectively.

  7. We do not currently have attorneys looking out for Americans best interests, we have Trumps personal attorneys being paid by our taxes. Thanks MAGA!

  8. I refuse to grant any credit to this cretin who helped Trump escape conviction in his impeachment trial

  9. I’m pretty sure every single lawyer who has worked for Trump or in his defense or frivolous blackmail lawsuits should probably be disbarred. Or at least severely sanctioned or punished.

People like Bondi are why Kim K thought she could pass the bar with no effort. Makes me wonder how she even got permission to practice law
