Pam Bondi has already gone on record saying “We will follow the law” and heavily implying they’re going to use the “Active investigations” loophole to claim virtually everything is evidence in an active investigation.
The courts aren’t going to intervene, Trump is going to say “I already instructed Bondi to follow the law”, and the GOP are gonna say “Welp, we tried! Nothing else we can do!”
That’s why they were suddenly so willing to pass this. They can now just say “We did everything we could to release the files!” and dismiss the entire issue instead of having to dodge and work around it.

Great where can I request a copy of the 3-5 LTO-6 data cassettes (1.5tb-7.5tb depending on specific disk and data types) that were seized from his New York property? (Official seizure list includes 3 tapes, and 2 drives, stands to reason those drives had tapes in them)
At the time that was the cutting edge in archival data storage, very very expensive, and exceptionally durable.
And I don’t particularly need a copy, so much as I need a directory listing.
I suspect those to be security camera archives. And if they are… That could very well be years of footage from dozens of cameras at the time.
And if they are every single one of those trillions of frame of that footage needs to come out, any children censored, but we simply must know who was there, and what they did there.
Or are we supposed to believe that not a single frame of security camera footage existed? That a Billionaire Criminal, with millions of dollars in assets in a multi-million dollar mansion in New York City, on billionaires row, didn’t have security cameras?
Or on his private island? Or on his 70,000 acre ranch?
The video and photographic evidence seized must all be made public, absent only the children.
