Apparently making no goddamn sense at all is the current GOP method to deflect difficult questions.

I genuinely don’t understand how people in the military see what democratic lawmakers (who are veterans btw) say, simply a request to uphold their vow to the constitution, and then listen to conservatives lambast them for it. What is going through their heads?

This is a straw man argument, because he has no other defense. Omitting the word “illegal” is deliberate, because he cannot otherwise defend Trump’s comment.
