  1. Countdown until the “lost” footage magically becomes available but with missing minutes all over it.

  2. “The suppressing of evidence ought always to be taken for the strongest evidence.”

    – Andrew Hamilton, The Trial of John Peter Zenger 1735

  3. Well, what fortunate… eh..
unfortunate timing. Definitely not a deliberate action, just an unfortunate coincidence. No one destroyed evidence of abuse, this was just an unfortunate coincidence. We totally would have been proven innocent, if not for the evidence deleting itself…

  4. The agency is hiding something and not just a system crash. It’s time to hold ICE accountable for their actions

  5. >In a seemingly flippant remark, the government’s attorneys suggested if the detainees’ lawyers provide “endless hard drives where we could save the information, that might be one solution.”

    >In response, the government hasn’t provided much information on the footage, directing attorneys to a company called Five by Five Management “that appears to be based out of a house,” said Solotorovsky.

I couldn’t make shit up like this, if I tried.

  6. They ‘lost’ all the footage the day after the lawsuit was filed? Hope the judge doesn’t buy that.

  7. Lock them up!

oh wait, is that not allowed when right wing bigots commit crimes? Is that cheer just to crush women?

Goon squad, domestic terrorists, white supremacists, Nazis are our new police force.

  9. The level of open corruption of this entire administration on a scale of 1-10 is like 682. It’s crazy to believe this is the USA.

If you’re looking for a career that rewards quick disappearances, ICE might be hiring. Just don’t ask them to keep anything.

  11. Are we ever going to stop this madness? They’re trying to occupy and create an apartheid police state with ICECBD and the other captured agencies. Eventually they want to do ethnic cleansing and genocide. I don’t understand how it’s November and they’re still actively doing illegal activities, conducting inhumane actions, and violating people’s rights in public everyday. I’m over it. Why isn’t there any accountability? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills watching violent fascism take control of our nation.

  12. Remember how all the secret service texts just disappeared from Jan 6th? Almost like it’s a patern

  13. When a defendent like ICE “loses evidence”, then the evidence should be deemed as damaging as possible in proceedings. You can’t give the video where your officers were doing something fishy? Then it’s assumed that they did 100% of what they are being sued for, no defense.

  14. They aren’t smart enough to know what a “negative inference” means in the legal context.

This doesn’t get them out of anything. If anything, it makes it worse.

Oh, key evidence was destroyed? Fine. The jury will be instructed that they can draw a negative inference that the missing evidence would have been damaging to the defendant.

What ever was actually on those tapes, might not be as bad as whatever the jury gets to imagine was on those tapes. And they’ll be specifically instructed they can use their imagination.

    They’re morons.

They continue to flippantly thumb their noses at laws and any attempts of accountability.

  16. You know how when you got the paper card on the thruway and lost it, you’d pay the maximum toll on the card for the furthest exit?

It should be like that for this.

In a sane world, ICE would be given a week or so to produce the “lost” evidence or immediately lose the case and be made to pay the maximum possible amount and more.

We don’t live in a sane world.

  18. Im curious if they even have the structure to fake internal investigations. My guess is no or an empty office nailed shut

    >Some $200 billion has been allocated to immigration enforcement, more than some countries allocate to their entire militaries,

The only countries spending that much on their militaries are the US, China and maybe Russia.
