  1. That’s probably very, very modest to call this one a lame duck. What do you think piggy? 🐷

How much damage can a lame duck Trump do though? Probably an awful lot, that’s the thing. It’s kinda scary, to be honest.

  3. In the last 48hrs Canada and South Africa told Trump to pound sand.

The “respect” appears to have been lost.

  4. If there is anything I have learned during the Trump era it is that the only accountability that can come to any of these politicians is at the ballot box. Again and again we see these folks act out and do whatever they feel their constituents will allow them.

Congress will only oblige Trump if it appeases their base and gets them back into office, but there is a scenario where the house gets cold feet and looks to realign who is in charge and it very well could be House Republicans.

While this is not likely just think about what kept them in their seats. When Mike Johnson was the opposition to Biden he didn’t close the government and was painted in such a favorable light by the GOP. Its clear he is willing to disobey Trump if its in his favor. Lets see how far he is willing to go to maintain his seat and the status quo in the house.

  5. That the Republican Party still can’t get away from him speaks volumes of their ineptitude.

I’m just counting the days until this nightmare is over. At least after midterms he will be, and now the other crazies are starting to cut ties and appear like functional adults even if it’s just a facade.

He will be out of politics and probably time on this planet near the end of his term.

If people had any sense all of those SNAP beneficiaries would start turning southern states blue. Sadly they seem to be a lost cause. Zombies running around eating their own brains.

He’s not a lame duck. If the course continues, whether he lives or dies, he is going to make sure this administration stays in power. Were only 11 months in and look at the damage already done. This man intends to stay. Do not be complacent.

As long as he is president and Americans support him (and would reelect him), he is doing a lot of damage to the world. No matter if the headlines call him a “lame duck” or not…

No, he’s not. He still has plenty of people in power kneeling for his mushroom.

Only a strong turnout in the 2026 election will make him a lame duck.

Until I see him out of that office and sanity restored. There’s nothing that says he lost power.

Sweet. Now gang up as Congress and neuter this duck and all future presidents. We should never have to face the threat of a rogue president again. We are a Republic. Of the People. By the People. And the President’s job is to make it run well as we say, through the Congress. That’s a Republic.

  12. Wasn’t this rag just yesterday saying we should just get over it and let him run roughshod all over the country?

  13. How does local elections swinging for the Democrats, when his party still controls the house and senate, not to mention the fact he has not been voted out. How does that make him a Lame Duck? Are we just making up new meanings for shit?

This screams “I heard the term Lame Duck for the first time and now I’m going to incorrectly use it whenever I can.”

  14. We’ll see. As much as I dread his next three years I also dread what will happen as election times come closer. I still fear this is the end of democracy in America but I hope every day that I’m wrong.

  15. With him being a sociopath, the major self destruct is coming. He won’t just give up. Be ready people

  16. He’s been a lame duck. IT DOESNT MATTER. None of is destruction has gone through Congress.

He will continue his executive overreach which is the problem.

  17. Basic-Ostrich85 on

Trump is a means to an end.

The GOP ( and other foreign parties) knew he was politically illiterate and corrupt both financially and morally.

It did not matter. He was a useful idiot.

  18. No he isn’t. He has nearly absolute power. The Republican party does whatever he wants and protects him from all accountability. He commits crime after crime and gets away with it. He uses the government to enrich himself and his cronies. People need to stop underestimating how dangerous he is.

  19. Can we please stop describing him as animals I love? First it was “Trump always chickens out” now it’s a lame duck. What’s next “Trump is an awful alpaca”???

  20. This is a terrible use of the term. As far as I know, “lame duck” has only ever been used to describe the period between November elections and January inauguration when we KNOW power is transitioning and time is limited. If someone being ineligible for another election qualified as lame duck, then every president in history would qualify immediately after winning their second term. Was W a lame duck from November 2004 to January 2009? Was Obama a lame duck from November 2012 to January 2017? Then don’t waste the term now on Trump. There’s plenty of other things we can call him.
