  1. This tracks with what I’m seeing at the grocery store. Trump’s tariff threats alone have already started affecting import prices and retailers are passing those costs directly to consumers. Basic economics tells us that trade wars always hurt working families the most.

Scary. That means 35% of Americans don’t use their brain. Even Trump said he would lower tariffs to help with affordability…and who put tariffs on to make things unaffordable?!? It doesn’t take graduating middle school to figure out the cause.

Aligns closely with approval rating in polls. Not a coincidence.

That other 35% will believe pretty much whatever they are told by the right wing angertainment industrial complex to believe, even if it’s the exact opposite of what they believed yesterday.

This is actually a pretty pathetically low number given that it’s an objectively true statement.

The problem is that enough of the 65% think higher prices are ok, so long as he’s harming brown & trans people.

I hate the use of the word “think” here. I “know” his policies lead to higher grocery prices.

They said Trump was going to lower prices. Well it’s the direct opposite. MAGA is so gullible

  8. I literally got an email yesterday from some random Republican congressmen from Virgina informing me that turkey was cheaper this year than last year.

You know things are bad when some rando starts sending emails praising dear leader for loving the price turkey.

  9. I think we can all agree it’s raising more than just prices. More like high blood pressure and patience.

  10. We really need this absolute buffoon to be voted out ASAP. This is not what the United States of America represents to the world. We are better this.

  11. I enjoy the fake copium random MAGAts are spreading on socials. They have to comment on posts like this alleging things are actually cheaper for them. It’s HILARIOUS. God knows, maybe half of them are just bots.

  12. By this point, shame on me for letting it live in my head rent free for so long tat it confuses me how there are so many people are STILL so detached from reality, but mother of god. I cannot think of a more basic tenet that republicans are horrible for the economy, workers, and shit, children, humans, and anything living other than billionaires.

  13. Im surprised we havent seen him throw the CEOs of walmart and other places under the bus. Saying something like his polices WOULD have helped people save but [insert ceo] hates me and wants me to look bad and is taking it out on you

Dirty thirty can be ignored. Any idea, no matter how incorrect or evil, can get thirty percent support in a poll. Between trolls, misanthropes, lonely people who just want someone to stay on the phone, intoxicated people, and just plain hatemongers?

Yep. About thirty percent in total. Probably higher.

If Trump ever says that the sky isn’t blue, the question “Is the sky blue?” would immediately poll at 70% ‘yes’ at a maximum.

38% approval rating right now – awfully close to the 35% who don’t understand basic cause and effect.

  17. HuTaosTwinTails on

The other 35% can’t read, do simple math, think the earth is flat, and think vaccines cause autism.
My bad, just described MAGAts in general.

Today, Whole Foods ( 929 South Street, Philadelphia,Pa ) was selling ground beef for $20.00lb., yes twenty dollars a pound for beef that would otherwise be too tough to eat.
