    There is no advantage to aligning with loser-ass Russia.

    Remember when one of the first things Trump did when taking office is inexplicably shut down Voice of America? Something Russia has wanted for decades.

    trump is witkoff and witkoff is trump. Trump thinks Putin is his friend and Witkoff thinks trump is an idiot that needs to be told he’s a big guy so you can get things done.

    I think I will copy/paste the following a few times. Besides Witkoff being a slumlord, having a networth of over $2B, has ties to Russia and Middle East, here is an interesting part from Wikipedia, “in 1996, he secured financing from Credit Suisse First Boston for the purchase of 33 Maiden Lane, a 27-story tower designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee; the following year, he leased the top 13 floors of the building to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for a 25-year term.[16]”

    In other words, Witkoff owns the building where the Federal Reserve is (or ‘was’ at this point?) – No wonder Trump, Putin, and the entire Middle East are glazing him.

    Putin is a terrifyingly smart and worryingly clever man. None of that is needed to convince Trump of anything. He’s a disturbingly easy man to sway. Just insult Obama, say he actually won the 2020 election and it was stolen from him, and butter up his ego and I don’t think there’s anything you couldn’t convince him to do.

    Come on, phone call or not, the tomahawks were never on the table. Not when USA has cut USAID that was helping Ukraine as first thing after getting in office, and stopped all new military aid to Ukraine. Not to mention the punching down on Ukraine as the victim and the “why aren’t you wearing a suit” ambush in the White House.
