Is it too much to hope for Texas redistribution to bite them in the ass?

Aftyn Behn (who the article is about) is only polling 2% behind the Republican candidate–within the margin of error–in a district (TN-7) that Trump won by 22% in 2024.

  3. This is exactly what the GOP is terrified of. When Democrats actually show up with real policy solutions instead of culture war nonsense, even deep red districts start paying attention. Behn’s focus on affordability and anti-corporate messaging is clearly resonating where it matters most.

  4. >Van Epps is the Trump-endorsed former commissioner of the Tennessee Department of General Services and an Army helicopter pilot running on issues like “the woke left’s push for gender surgeries and mutilation on minors,” making sure America “never abandons” Israel, and “advancing President Trump’s America First agenda: keeping our borders secure, rebuilding our military strength, protecting American workers, and restoring the values that make our nation great.”

It’s so fucking dumb bumfuck nowhere Tennessee running with those kinds of issues where most shouldn’t even affect them gets so much votes

  5. Even if she does not win (and I hope she does), a close race indicates a broad dissatisfaction with Cheeto Mussolini. And that’s a good thing.

  6. If she wins it will be interesting seeing the moderate centrist democrats always saying progressive candidates cant win in red districts therefore shut up and accept the moderates who always undermine the party. This candidate is from a red district running as a progressive endorsed by the DSA even if she barely loses it shows that leftist can win in red districts given the chance.
