    > “Every trafficker we kill is affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organization,” he added

Right. So what are their names? Do they show up on a most wanted list, like other “narco terrorists”?

The fact is, we (and the government) have no idea who these people actually are. They’re likely just normal folks who are getting paid to drive a boat from point A to point B and they know better than to ask questions about what’s on the boat.

Like the five year-old with crumbs on his shirt and chocolate on his hands.

*NO, I didn’t take any cookies from the cookie jar.*

In the current adminstration, getting caught is expected as is the denail and redirection respones. We have an unchecked gaggle children running our government.

The claim of “fake news” is incredibly juvenile and getting stale. If the facts are incorrect, dispute them and provide the truth. Crying “fake news” any time you don’t like what’s being reported just comes across as defensive and ignorant.

The denial would carry more weight if Trump wasn’t moving towards pardoning one of the biggest drug traffickers in recent history.

They don’t care about drug trafficking. There are ulterior motives at play here, as always.

I’m sure Pete is thinking about the pardon Trump will issue him in the US. What he’s been in charge of is extrajudicial killings. That pardon will not help him outside of the US. He’ll be left here and at risk if he ever leaves the country again.

  7. Surely Hegseth isn’t dumb enough (or drunk enough) to believe Trump will save him down the line right?

Ah yes, ‘fake news’, the go-to defense when the facts hit too close to home 🙄 When will we get past this era of dismissing every inconvenient truth?

  9. Kills indiscriminately, Wapo reports Hegseth is killing indiscriminately and then says it’s fake news..

Looking forward to seeing how that hair helmet is going to look when he’s in jail and no longer has access to all that hair gel. On the bright side, prison will be detox for him!

  11. Can’t wait to hear Leavitt explain why these “narco terrorists” must be killed while others are pardoned*.

I would pay to see her squaring that circle.

  12. “Fake news” is the next “just following orders”.

I wish we could fast forward to Nuremberg 2 Electric Boogaloo already.

  13. Coming from a 9 year National Guard Major, you know he’s lying. The DoD intentionally pushed out many of the IGs in the department earlier this year for a reason.

  14. So proud of his order to kill that he denies it. The boots on the ground know the truth and word will spread. we always spread the dirty on candy assed brass in the military.

On brand for whiskey pete though, what a wArFiGhTeR!

  15. Responsible-Room-645 on

I certainly hope that anyone in the military who followed these clearly illegal orders is prosecuted under international law.

  16. > The U.S. military has carried out over 20 strikes targeting alleged drug-smuggling boats, killing more than 80 people that the administration has said were “narco-terrorists.”

And not once doing what they’re supposed to do:

    *Prepare to be boarded!*

The ultimate example of a no-knock warrant. There never were any drugs on those boats. It’s all about the 300 billion barrels of oil in Venezuela.

  17. Hegseth and Trump have murdered 86+ people they’ve accused of being drug traffickers with no evidence of this whatsoever. Murder is indefensible and Hegseth is the one that should be court martialed not Senator Mark Kelly.
Trump is sanctioning the murder of alleged drug traffickers at the bottom of the trafficking organization but pardoning the ones that are running the show.
Sounds like Trump has some explaining to do.

  18. Except that Bezos owns WaPo, and is in bed with this administration, so they’re eating their own, here…

  19. Ya can’t hate voters enough for putting this mass murdering freak into power. So much moral rot in this country.

  20. And yet they’re gonna pardon the guy who employs these boat runners. Guess it all makes when you realize America is just a pay for play playground now

  21. SpecialistChance0 on

This is the administration that coined the phrase “fake news.” How the files doing?

  22. So his response is Fake news?

Yeah that tells me he ordered the killings amd should be charged for the crimes he has ordered.

This government needs to he held accountable for their crimes

  23. Never seen any administration, or organization for that matter, blame their predecessor multiple times a day throughout their entire term like this one. Real leaders don’t whine about shit that happened before then on the daily. This isn’t drill weekend, Kegster!
