Just provoking a war to divert attention from the 1500+ times his name is mentioned in the Epstein files.

Y’know folks, I think maybe this Trump character might not be as good a leader as we thought.

Remember when those 6 democrats said to not obey illegal orders? Well, they knew something like this was in the works. Venezuela of all places… never thought in my lifetime we’d attack them.

  4. Pyrofishexplosion on

Trump is trying to take a page out of his friend Putin playbook by plunging the US into a war so he can stay in power.

  5. Isn’t that a lot like a blockade?

And isn’t blockade an act of war?

“*According to modern international law, blockades are an act of war.*[*^([2])*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blockade#cite_note-:0-2) *In that sense, a blockade can be legal only if applied in* [*self-defense*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-defense) *– but never as part of a* [*war of aggression*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_of_aggression)*. 6. There is literally a movie about this, Wag The Dog, with Robert De Niro and Dustin Hoffman, made in the 90s.

It’s about the US President deliberately starting a fake war, just to distract people from a scandal.

Fat fuck Trump thinks and hopes a Venezuela war will make people forget about the Epstein files.

  7. Why on Earth do we allow this administration to treat tweets like laws or even Executive Orders?! This is insanity, obvs.

  8. Reviews-From-Me on

It’s been over 60 days since Trump began military action against Venezuela. Without Congressional authorization, he must immediately cease all military action.

  9. If this turns into the all out war it appears to be, Trump will die of old age before it’s over. He keeps reaching new lows

    Closed as in what?

Is Trump saying he will shoot down any aircraft passing through his imposed destination?

Is he claiming that any aircraft whether it be passenger, commercial, shipping, private or military will be attacked by American military forces?

Is he going to shoot down aircraft from countries sharing borders with Venezuela for flying within their own airspace?

Is Trump trying to create a conflict with the whole of South America and any country doing business or traveling to the region?

There are around a half a dozen International Airports in Venezuela and over a dozen more surrounding Venezuela that cross over Venezuelan territory to reach them. Some airports because of the mountainous region can only be approached by passing over Venezuelan territory.

International agreements, prohibited another country from preventing another from flying in its own airspace. The Chicago Convention, guarantees transit rights to sovereign nations. It bans unilateral enforcement of airspace restrictions and a blockade is considered an act of war.

    What Is Sovereignty:
A country has sovereign (complete) control over the airspace above its territory.

Trump is completely out of control.

  11. Hernandez trafficked 400 TONS into the US. That’s 800,000 POUNDS of cocaine. Trump is pardoning him. Trump is saying he’s blowing up (illegally) Venezuelans over drugs and now invading… but he’ll pardon Hernandez. Republicans are such fucking assholes.

If Donald Trump doesn’t die in office, America surely will.

He’s dismantling America piece by piece, he’s destroyed renown agencies, departments and institutions that were the envy of the world.

He’s gutted human rights advancement in America that took 75 years to accomplish.

He’s broken international laws, tore up agreements, ignored treaties and divided America in a way that benefits our adversaries.

He’s done more harm as president than any war (we have ever or could ever fight) to America.

The rule of law, justice, habeas corpus, judicial rule, freedom of expression, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, freedom to protest, citizenship rights, equal rights, the rule of law, and on & on are simply ignored under the Trump regime.

The principles that America was founded on, the freedoms laid out in the Bill of Rights, the Constitution we are supposed to be based upon are under attack from within.

MAGA willingly sit by and support Trump while he shits on our Constitution and wipes his ass with our flag.

  13. So the US just declared war on another sovereign state without provocation. sounds a bit like what Putin did to Ukraine to me.

  14. They must be getting really close to having to release the files. Nuclear war will be the final distraction, mark my words.

  15. If he really is closing off the airspace that is an act of war. So let’s see what actually happens. Are flights in and out of Venezuela blocked or not? Is he really prepared to shoot down airliners heading in and out of Caracas? He’s already used the military to deliberately target civilians near Venezuela. People get life sentences for war crimes like this in the real world. These are acts of war, and he has zero congressional authorization. He’s not even asking for it.

Hey, you dudes in Congress – a president declaring war without Congressional approval is about as impeachable as it gets. He’s stepping on YOUR constitutional powers. Even this is just a bluster tweet the burden is on you to open an impeachment inquiry. Use your subpoena power to find out what is going on. Do the jobs you swore to do and defend the Constitution from this domestic enemy.

  16. I’m no expert in international relations, but can a foreign leader close another sovereign nation’s airspace? This seems legally dubious, not that the law maters to this administration.
