Someday, and I believe that day will soon come, Trump supporters will grapple with being made a fool by the guy, and I am not sure if the country will be able to survive the backlash from that.
MAGA are the most insecure people I’ve encountered.
– They obsess over IQ because they don’t believe they’re that smart. (Or think they’re smarter than others)
– They obsess over wealth because they don’t think they’re poor (but one day they will be rich!)
– And they rant about “DEI” because they’re upset they couldn’t get further ahead than any marginalized group.
So one day when it is undeniable Trump not only fooled them, but fleeced them as well, this country will have to prepare for instability we haven’t seen since the Civil War.
