  1. Troops need to know that not only should they never obey an illegal order, but they will be thrown under the bus if people around them do. I couldn’t imagine wanting to serve under military leaders who demand that I answer for their crimes.

More lies from the Trump War Crimes Administration. Can’t wait until he and drunk Pete are safely behind bars doing their time.

  3. Oh shit, this is not going away. They’re throwing Admirals under the ferries. Not even trying to circle the ships.

lol yeah those fishermen clinging to a blown up boat for dear life were a threat to the military

They provide no evidence of “self defense.” Just a 1984 type answer of “the attack was conducted in self defense to protect Americans” and “vital United States interests,” she said.”

  6. Sounds awfully like the White House is trying to find a scapegoat to pin the act on to protect Hegseth and Trump.

  7. Defending the admiral while simultaneously throwing him directly under the bus for orders everyone knows Hegseth gave.

But I do hope this puts to rest whatever delirious notion people have that the military will be some magic safeguard against totalitarian overreach. This admiral followed what is undeniably an illegal order and a war crime. And more will do the same, because that’s how totalitarianism works.

White House media is not interested in reality, transparency or truth. They shame Fox News with their propaganda, and that is saying a lot.

    > When two survivors emerged from the wreckage, Bradley issued an order to comply with Hegseth’s alleged instructions to “kill everybody,” according to The Washington Post, citing officials with direct knowledge of the operation.

This doesn’t absolve Hegseth of anything. The admiral complied with orders from Hegseth. This doesn’t absolve the admiral either, obviously, but it seems like they’re going to try to pin this on the admiral and overlook Hegseth’s involvement.

  10. So the survivors, flailing in the sea, were they presenting a lethal threat to the drone, to the aircraft carrier, or both?

  11. 100% horseshit. It won’t stop till this entire administration has been wiped clean off the face of the earth. As for being held accountable? As much as it is right, just and what everyone Knows as being proper; I’m growing increasingly pessimistic any real accountability will ever happen for these maligned shithead sycophants, including orange palpatine himself. I’m not attempting to normalize any of this – far fkn from it. But thus far they’re as slippery as eels in oil, and big money just keeps moving the goalposts and redirecting the narratives. It’s loathsome. But it’s happening.

Worst timeline in recent US history by far.

I guess the Admiral didn’t see Mark Kelly’s video about disobeying illegal orders. You know the one Trump said was worthy of death. Pathetic Fascists.

  13. Self defense doesn’t work like that. You aren’t allowed to double tap people, lethal force can only be used when your life is immediate danger of death or great bodily harm. You also have to retreat when given the opportunity.

  14. So the story two days ago from literally everyone at the Pentagon, including Hegseth: there was no second strike and any talk of it is completely false.

Story today: There was a second strike and it was ordered by Admiral Bradley, **not** Hegseth.

    Here comes the bus! 🚌🚌
