  1. President Donald Trump has formally pardoned former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, according to his attorney Renato Stabile.

Trump had announced his intention of granting a “full and complete pardon” to Hernández last week in a move that erases a major US drug-trafficking conviction for a onetime US ally.

Hernández has been released from prison, according to his attorney. A US Bureau of Prisons database also shows that the former Honduran president was released from a prison in West Virginia.

Trump: we are at war against drug traffickers.

also Trump: unless they can afford to give me money for a pardon.

  3. My theory as to why Trump did this is because he really hates the idea of a President being held accountable.

  4. When it comes to corrupt shitholes, the US must surely be edging towards the top of the list?

  5. It’s these sort of things they don’t discuss over at Reddit Conservative, where Kirk is their profile pic. If Reddit did location mapping, like X recently did, we’d probably find out that they launch this out of Russia.

  6. So kill people for drug trafficking and pardon people for drug trafficking, make it make sense.

  7. Hernandez trafficked 400 TONS into the US. That’s 800,000 POUNDS of cocaine. Trump is pardoning him. Trump is saying he’s blowing up (illegally) Venezuelans over drugs and now invading… but he’ll pardon Hernandez.

    Republicans are such fucking assholes.

  8. Trump’s whole immigration “policy” is that America needs closed borders to keep out all the South American criminals, and yet here he is pardoning South American criminals.

Seems like Trump wants to take out the competition using the us military and start his own cartel delivery into the united states.  But that would be crazy right?

  10. if this admin is good at one thing, it’s doublethink.

    making 1984 a damn documentary.

“…to forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again..”

  11. Time to crack the ol knuckles and head over to the conservative subreddit to see what they have to say! Wait .. there’s no post, I’m so confused guys?

  12. I wonder what the going rate for no questions asked highly questionable pardons is for Trump 2.0. I think it was just 2 million dollars when Rudy was Trump’s pivot man in these illegal deals.

  13. I wonder why I can’t find a single post about Juan Orlando Hernandez in the conservative sub from any time earlier than 7 years ago. Curious.

  14. I don’t get it. (I’m currently drinking decaf)

how does DT need to issue an official pardon to the former Honduran President.

Did he receive a Visa to immigrate to the US and become a resident? If so does ICE know about this and will they deport Pres Hernandez back to Honduras or maybe Columbia / El Salvador instead? Are US pardons even valid in Honduras?

  15. Far less than one…ONE…percent of fent came from Canada. And that’s WAY lower, now. And we get whalloped with ridiculous, ILLEGAL, tariffs in Canada leading to thousands being laid off.

Interestingly, a bunch of the Crypto-Billionaires have been setting up corporate fiefdoms in Honduras for awhile. Hernandez’s party has been in support of selling them more land.

I’m out of the loop. Has the Honduras president been arrested and convicted by the US government?

Therefore allowing an American president the ability of giving them a presidential pardon?

Or is this just more trump bullshit?

  18. The power of the pardon needs to go. So does this entire Administration. Hell, a lot of things need to be fixed.
