  1. Yes republicans go out of their way to be duplicitous hypocrites.

When weasels need to insult other weasels they call them ‘Mike Johnson’.

  2. Well yeah, but he had good reason. Grijalva wanted to expose a pedophile he’s protecting.

Amazing how fast he can do what he wants to do. republicans pretend to have superior morals, but never actually display them.

  4. Too bad the dems have a bum in Hakeem who would never do the same. I wish that next time dems have a majority with a speaker they’d just do this for every Rep til they passed a law stating they have to be sworn in ASAP.

  5. Not that I believe it will make a difference, but have these election results even been certified? As of now it seems these are still reported as unofficial results on the Tennessee SoS page.

And the Democrats will do absolutely nothing about it except huff their own farts about how moral and intelligent they are. How is possible to lose this badly to the clown show that is the modern Trumplican party? Is it incompetence or corruption?

If Democrats had a party platform it’d be awesome to see them plan a new Johnson rule for when they are back in the majority: all new minority party members will be given 50 days to settle in before being sworn in.

  8. Mike Johnson proves they will lie to get any advantage like McConnel lied when he said you don’t confirm SC nominees in election years. Nobody is shocked.

  9. Depressed-Industry on

Mike Johnson proves that when people loudly and publicly say they’re Christian, they aren’t.

  10. When does payback come for this shit? The answer is never. America has two right wing parties.

  11. Everyone was losing their minds at Democrats for “caving” on the shutdown.

Johnson was delaying that Dem’s swearing in hoping the government would stay shut down until the TN special election where a Republican candidate had a good chance. That Republican candidate won last week.

There wouod have never been a successful vote to release the Epstein files if the Democrats didn’t end the shutdown when they did. The TN Republican would have been sworn in alongside the Dem, and there wouldn’t be enough votes to force the discharge petition.

And now Trump has announced that the Obamacare subsidies the Dems wanted to extend for one year will actually be extended for two years. That was the whole reason the dems weren’t voting for the spending bill.

The Democrats won the shutdown fight. And their voters are angry at them for it. It’s pathetic.

  12. That’s because he’s basically a horrible human being at his core. Add politics and sycophancy on top and you get the Speaker.

  13. Hey guys, I’m starting to suspect some hypocrisy from a Republican. You guys sense it too?

  14. it would be against the rules to tell you what you have to do with mike in order for this to stop
