  1. I can’t wait to read about this period of the Supreme Court in the history books in about 20 years…. assuming the books will be accurate, that is.

This court has proven that they don’t give a shit about the constitution.

Except for when they need toilet paper

  3. Being outraged at the current Supreme Court without endorsing candidates who have a legitimate plan to fix it is pointless.

Waiting for justices to retire or pass and hope its in a cycle you control is terrible planning and one of the reasons we are in this situation.

Like it or not they are the highest court in the land and have lifetime appointments.

This should be a democratic day 1 priority.   Any candidates not avowing immediate changes to the SC shouldn’t garner votes.

I don’t understand why we’re still pretending to be shocked every time the Supreme Court rules that the country belongs now and for all time to Trump. They literally ruled that he is not beholden to the laws of men. Like….that’s the game, folks. That’s all she wrote. That was when this stopped being a government of, by and for the people and started being a business concern being run by a degenerate child rapist.

Guess what happens when the bill is due on your appointment to the court? You do what you’re fucking told.

  6. Two things that really frustrate me. As Kagan rationally and succinctly spells out, the majority violated the constitution. But there is no mechanism in place to effect a remedy above the supremes. The founders never foresaw a court loaded with political loyalists. Surely some constitutional scholars can come up with a solution we could enact at some future date when this madness is in our rear view.

Secondly: How in the fuck is the shadow docket, with no supporting written decisions and dissents required, even a thing in the real world? This is the end of justice in America.

  7. Elena, why don’t you and Schumer write a strogly worded letter to the other Justices..that’ll work.🙄

for the 1000th time, please point in the constitution where it says states cannot gerrymander. You’d think a Supreme Court justice would know how to read the constitution

Have we forgotten that Republican supreme court justices have credible rape accusations? That their 100k gambling debts vanished overnight during their coronation? A billionaire ***owns Clarence Thomas’s moms house and lets her live there for free***.

I’m tired of Democrats being so fucking pathetic. 90% of this admin should be in a maximum security penitentiary. Trumps cabinet is filled with some of the most brazen and dangerous criminals to ever set foot in America. Rapists, pedos, murderers, fraudsters, scammers. It’s a Who’s Who of criminality. The worst of the worst.

Clarence Thomas and Kavanaugh should have been impeached a decade ago for corruption and lying under oath.
