Doesn’t fucking matter, because even if they did have drugs on that boat, in a civilized society that isn’t run by a bunch of bloodthirsty fucking sociopaths this isn’t a crime that’s punishable by extrajudicial execution.

Bradley was JSOC at the time, under SOCOM
By the end of the month, September 30th, Hegseth had called all admirals and generals into a meeting in DC, then talked to Bradley on the side about strikes in Venezuela.
October 3rd, the head of SOCOM stepped down and Bradley became the new head.

Shouldn’t the American Military have looked forward to them calling for reinforcements. Our military is so great. It can target many, many boats at the same time. They have the largest aircraft in the world out there and they will only go after one boat at a time. They could have gotten rid of a lot of supposed terrorists. Are we sure we are hunting terrorists?

Even if calling for backup justified the second strike (it doesn’t, and the first one wasn’t either) what kind of backup are they going to get against cruise missiles that can kill them from 1000 miles away?

When a drone hits your boat with a missile and everything is on fire you’re not reaching for the radio, that’s starting to melt.

At the bare minimum, calling for backup is the most basic protocol. When even that isn’t followed, something is seriously wrong.

Honestly, where is the Red Cross in all this? They exist to help people in need, especially during war.

Let’s say, for the sake of this stupid argument, that they did radio for someone.
You sure they didn’t radio for… you know… rescue?

So, calling “Mayday Mayday, our ship has taken damage from an unknown explosion. We are sinking, please send help! Mayday Mayday!” is justifiable cause for bombing them. Really?

Even if they did, they’re in the middle of the ocean. I may not be a military expert, but doesn’t the navy have something where they can see stuff even when it’s like really far away? Like another boat?

What would backup even look like? Another open boat, right? And the carrier task group would find that threatening?
This is all so frick’n stupid.
Trump and the Republicans in government that supports him are all disgusting criminals. I can’t wait until we pull them out of power and try them for crimes against humanity.

I don’t get the “we had to blow them up again because we thought they were going to get rescued” argument. Were they just supposed to float out there till they died?

Here’s a thought:
If the survivors had activated an EPIRB (or if the boat had a water-activated EPIRB) ; would that have been judged as “radioing for assistance”?
Bradley can enjoy his fucking cell next to Hegseth and the strike operators.
